Yeah, but by buying the iPhone on eBay and hacking it you can save some money. And you can use it on other networks as a bonus!

I believe you are missing the point. If you unlock it you can use it as your Pay as you Go phone, i.e. you save $2,000

I don't know if they are, cause I'm hearing the V3 SIM works on 2.28. The safest thing to do is only buy from sites that use PayPal. The V3 works, but they may not be selling the V3 like they say they do.
