2 reasons. when i record on the real piano... sound is bad. check old videos (super old) the clavinova allows me to record directly to the pc which makes a clean sound (almost). 2nd reason, the clavinova allows me to generate the sheet music :)

use an organ/clavinova or whatever. then get a cable thinggy and plug it in the LINE Out of the organ, other end goes to the LINE In of your pc/laptop.
