This was a bad fire, I remember seeing this from Rialto the mountains looked like volcanos erupting.

that year was a crazy year for wildfires, but i think the 2003 fires was worse!!

I remember these fires. I was leaving for Vegas that Friday morning before they closed the pass. We got word on Sunday when we were heading back home that the pass was still closed. Took us 19 hours to get home. Crazy when someone started the fire in Yucaipa which basically left us residents with 1 exit out of the city, thru Riverside. I still see empty plots up the top of Del Rosa. Sad.

Just to clear things up this fire was from 2003 and not the fires that have been burning this week.

Haha I live in San Bernardino and school has been canceled for the whole week thanks to these fires...WOOOOOOOOO!!

So sad for those losing homes-please wear masks, this can't be good to breath. Thinking of you all including my family that had to evacuate Rancho Pan..on Mon. Returned today and Thank God their home is safe. They are lucky. Thinking of you Californians. Mich.
