You cannot get an English version of this game on the PS2, but you can get it on the PSP with English subtitles! I have the game on my PSP and love it!

For those of you who are curious, YES this game is HIGHLY recommended. I've played many good fighting games before and so far Dissidia only got my attention when I saw this come up. I immediately downloaded it on the PSP after hacking it and now I can't wait to get the PS3 Ad-Hoc parties to kick ass. Very good Game! =D Not ALOT of selections on the main menu but the fighting and gameplay makes up for it.

I've been playing this almost nonstop since I bought it last night. Fate/Stay Night is my favorite game ever, and this fighting game does a good job at conveying the characters and their abilities properly. Yay ^_^

First activate the holygrail if you have it, then press down,forward,down,forward+circle to release the chains, then to pull the enemy press forward, down back,, if you did that you will see gilgamesh pulling out the weapon dainslef in his gate of babylon, if that happens press square, triangle,circle, press those three buttons 2x, if you do that then press down,forward,down,forward+circle again to do his grail finisher

Play the novel, if you don't mind a lot of reading. The anime tried to fit three stories into one and didn't do a good job. It left out quite a lot of things. So yeah if you want to understand the story and characters then the novel is recommended.
I agree...this is also available for the PSP. It's out now. If you don't have a PS2, get it for the PSP or vice-versa. The PSP controls are different from the PS2 version though...but still a great game

Play the novel, if you don't mind a lot of reading. The anime tried to fit three stories into one and didn't do a good job. It left out quite a lot of things. So yeah if you want to understand the story and characters then the novel is recommended.

I agree...this is also available for the PSP. It's out now. If you don't have a PS2, get it for the PSP or vice-versa. The PSP controls are different from the PS2 version though...but still a great game

what an excellent way to put it. ive been to many places in europe and asia (including japan) and most locals have at least heard of those stereotypes. theyll take one look at my huge douche of a brother and start talking in their own language about him, which is a shame that my own blood is perpetuating those generalizations.

the japanese version should be out next month, June 18th. but the American downloadable version should be out some time in between now to June 30th, if my understanding of the fiscal year is correct.

first of all vanta, i have destroyed every tekken, secondly fatal fake crucis gave u an online function to CHALLENGE PLAYERS, now take away the upcoming tekken and how many games would that be in the serious that allow u to do that... um that would be NONE. the only noob here is you, secondly yay for the psp release of this game for US! yay for saber in lily armor and Type-Moon makes masterpiece, u want skill, play melty blood act cadenza or this game and get destroyed.

this is how i know your a noob. lol. You play tekken on easy mode prolly. Plus, i dont give a fuck if you were beating off you were a child. THE GAME MAIN PURPOSE IS TO ALLOW OTHER PLAYERS CHALLENGE OTHER PLAYERS. ALSO ( I'm not done yet! ) TEKKEN IS NOWHERE NEAR SIMPLE. VERY COMPLEX WITH WAY MORE MOVES THAN THIS GAME. i looked up the move list for this "FATE". its only like 12 moves per character. TEKKEN HAS 100's of attacks you can use against your enemy. FATE vs TEKKEN......TEKKEN wins.....

fate/unlimited codes and tekken are both very enjoyable. although i enjoy fate more, it still doesnt mean that all other games suck. thats would just be petty. there arent twelve moves per character and there arent hundred of moves in tekken. your exaggeration only further complements your ignorance and idiocy.

its about time that you started talking like your age (kind of), so listen up:
this is a game where fans of the fate series can finally use their favorite characters in a serious fighting game.
there are very intense and very long combos, yet despite this, there are balances in the form of bursts, reflect guards, and activations.
supers and specials are nostalgic and amazing to see, but not overpowered so fights are longer.
the controls require more thought than mashing than in most games.

I don't see any long combos, plus. even if they did have combos. doesnt its better. TEKKEN has combos. but they are not easy because these combos can be broken, so you can either stick to turtling or go all out. doesnt matter. It's the type of player you are. ALSO. 30 hit combo specials does not count because all you have to do is push like 3 buttons and the whole 30 hits come out. for example 2:08 so yeah.fuck this game..P.S. there are no age standards in America so i can act whatever i feel.

So Fate you can do a 100 combo jus by repeating and pushing the same buttons over and over. not to mention an invisible wall kept that dood in the air ju to get sliced even more. wow man in TEKKEN there's no invisi walls where you can repeat a combo. Tekken is a great game ...F/uc is a great game no game is ultimately the best it just depends on popularity i believe ..in anycase i love both of them ..ofc there will be a game that requires more skill...but that doesnt mean its the best game ..i mean smash brothers melee probably requires the most tech skill / mind games in any fighting game up to todays date but that doesnt make it the best game sure it may be popular but it al comes down to ppls preference ..TO EACH HIS OWN.
