I hate to say it but im extremely disappointed in the drummers feet. he cheats and uses spcl pedals. watch @ 3:35 and on when u see his legs. they move one fourth of the speed the bass drum is beating @ . just sayin if i had those pedals i could play like that 5 years ago....ive been playin for 6

1- You can't use his legs as an indicator of speed, the motion comes from the foot at those speeds.

2- At 3:35 it is hard to judge because of the strobe light.

3- At 4:40 you get a better shot, notice how his feet are moving.

4- I think he would have enough dignity not to use special pedals.

You realize a poly-rhythm is when you have two different patterns that have a singular tie say on the 3rd or 4th measure if you are using 4/4 as standard count.

For example, 6/8 during a 8/8 is a poly-rhythm, obviously the song doesn't call for subdivision break downs like that, it is a straight forward 16/16.

I do agree, not the best drummer ever, that would have to be Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater...
