  • This was one of several "Seasons Greetings" spots R.O. Blechman designed for CBS for 1966. The most famous is the one minute spot where a woodcutter plays "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" on his "violin saw" to the forest animals, instead of cutting down a tree.

  • There was one with a reindeer with Christmas lights attached to his antlers; the background music in that one was cool...hope it gets posted soon...

  • Awesome! CBS created a few more of them, one with santa climbing into an oil lamp to light it, another with the man playing music on his saw instead of sawing down the tree and one with reindeer flying across the screen. Would love to see those again, too, if someone could post them for us b/c I just can't find them online
