I am Lao too. My mother is people who Thai/Siam called Khone Esan from Udon which is really Lao. Thai always cry when they were under Burmese's control and they said they never invaded another country. But how come Lao became Thai Esan. Lanna became Thai. Patany became Thai and Surin, Bureerum etc. became Thai. I know Thai is super good about rewrite the history and make them good guy and always correct. Thai have no shame at all.
