My apologies, but the mixing couldn't have been any worse. You guys just looked really unprepared -didn't do the pacemaker any justice.

Check out the community on the pacemaker web site to listen to great mixes. A DJ performing in Watergate (Berlin) was using one and it was nothing short of amazing.

Thanks for your comments. I'd suggest that maybe the mixing is a bit too good in places (my first mix), so it's not obvious what's happening. Believe me, the mixing could have been a lot worse.

Unprepared? Well yes, we were two people from two companies on two different stands at a show who both happened to have a Pacemaker, so we did this spontaneously.

It's actually harder than you might think to mix with a Pacemaker and show what it can do at the same time without confusing people. :-)

After reading your comment and watching the video again made me want to take back what I said; although not all of it. Your mix in retrospect was good. However, the performance was truly let down by Tristan. It was irritating to hear and completely out of sync and tempo. From what I gather, he is in fact working on behalf of pacemaker which is a true disappointment as after a few hours of practice, anyone could outdo that harrowing take. Join the pacemaker community. I'm soon on my way. cUthere!

I've done a few more demos since then and changed the way I do it, so now I tend to show people how it works, rather than actually use it as you would normally. That seems to open up people's eyes to what it can do.

Also, while it's fun having two Pacemakers on stage, it can confuse the issue for anyone looking on, so that's probably not the best way to show it off.
