Would love to get a copy of the "Before I race on my two wheelies, I get the eaties for my wheaties!" I was the kid singing and racing on the BMX bike
Anyone remember Tony Franklin the kicker of the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots? "Before I kick with my bare feeties I get the eaties for my Wheaties."
@buzzlewie Actually, it was Anthony Edwards, later of "ER," who sang on a soccer field, "before I use my head and feeties, I get the eaties for my Wheaties." Hoping for the rest of that commercial here. Didn't happen.
Darryl Dawkins...I used to LOVE this commercial when I was a kid! Like I've said elsewhere, this is when most athlete didn't take themselves so seriously and have attitude "just because."
One of the earlier commercials in this series featured a girl about to take part in the "swimming meeties" - that girl was Justine Bateman, just beginning to get notice from "Family Ties".
Wow, I remember these commercials! But I didn't think the commercials were from as early as 1981. The first "Eaties For Wheaties" commercial I saw was during the summer of 1982.
