You know, the country that has had two civil wars in the last 50-60 years, and has had a huge humanitarian crisis with the Darfur conflict (which was caused by its "Arab Apartheid"). Get real, people, there's no more living from the earth in Sudan (which is probably why these guys are coming to the US).

A few years ago, I had a chance to interact with someone from rural South Korea who was new to the United States. His English was extremely limited, more so than these rather eloquent guys, and his cultural familiarity was roughly as limited as these guys. I spent hours a day for weeks simply answering every question he had and helping him with his language, as we were new co-workers. That experience was valuable for him, but very valuable for me, too.
I wish other Americans would do this.
