I don't like the fat bitch from Keroche. She has this really disgusting facial expression of.... i don't know what to call it... I wouldn't fuck her with a stolen dick!
Legalize the weed, this alcohol has killed too many people. Haven't heard of a man or woman that has died from some good old ganja, no matter how much they smoke, drink or eat it. Regulate the alcohol in a sensible manner and legalize the ganja at once.
what a bunch of nonesense ....so this will stop folks from brewing this stuff kichini chini ? ujinga as usual....whats new ? same shit different day ,,
Finally, a law that will hopfefully help curb Kenyans habitual drinking behavior. Yes in America they sell alchohol in the supermarket, but why don't you mention that liquor cannot be sold past 7pm and no alchohol sold after 3.30 am anywhere. Some states barn the sale of liquor on sunday ant their beer is litterly watered down. Absolutly no drinking in public anywhere. And the finally the famous drunk driving laws that are actually enforced.
This is quite unwise, you cannot control alcohol by banning its sale in supermarkets, what they need to say is to not allow non-adults to purchase it from supermarkets.
Germany has >5,000 brands of beer, hundreds of wines, whiskys and all types of alcohol but they have no problem of alcoholism. Kenya <10 brands and chang'aa and has problems of all sorts, so it is not the alcohol that is the problem, it is the drinkers
Changaa is called waragi in Ug,Konyagi in TZ. In Brazil its called Pinga and even countries like German have schnapps etc.etc. Lets control the productions and let the people enjoy. Why is it that only KBL and Keroche complaining???monopoly??
anyone that works with teens knows that if they want to drink alcohol, they will. it doesn't matter if they have to go 10m or 300m. if there is a will, there is a way. yet again, our government creates a law that makes no sense whatsoever and doesn't deal with the real problems at hand. if they are worried about chang'aa, then they should crack down on chang'aa or as someone else said, educate communities on safe brewing.
whats so wrong with selling alcohol beverages in supermarkets or even advertising and on the other hand open up the market for many more cheap liquor?
Supermarkets should be allowed to sell alcohol to adults. Since the drinking age is 18 in Kenya all you need is to show the ID. No one will ever win the fight against Chang'aa time to educate the community on safe brewing.
Did these morons examin the effects of the US Prohibition on society? This is an utter and completely obtuse knee-jerk reaction that is bound to fail. So does this new law exclude hotels, sports clubs, restaurants, sports facilities etc? The problem here is corruption, poor policing and pricing & availability differentials between legal and illegal liquor. The chiefs in the areas know what's going on - so now you will pay them more to sit on committees that will license their buddies? Good job!

I understand protecting kids, but some of the measures in this law is definitely going to hurt business.
