Greenaway is one of the biggest genuises in end credits in the history of cinema. Here, with that banging bell and his signature, is a case in point.

I'm all for historical insight. But i'm not seeing the Lang/ Fellini - maybe you could explain... What I'm seeing is a lot of Raoul Coutard style framing (headroom etc) and pop culture references - the image at 2.14 or 4.58 - those look straight out of an early Godard film!

Sorry but I was just finding the unqualified fanboy approach of these comments ("peter greenaway is a genius" "one of the biggest genuises" etc) really idiotic.
