I think he is talking about the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms must not be infringed. upon. And this right is about personal defense of a person from his government.. Mr. Franken seems not to think if this is what it is about or maybe the ability of a private corporation to oppose socialism in elections. What ever e case may be a reminder Humans have People have rights given to them by God Corporations do not as they are not created by God. Gave also gave us the right to defend ourselves.

He states right at the very beginning that he is talking about "American's basic right to have their day in court."
