  • Reading the description.. " 2004 World Series of Poker champion Antonion Esfandiari " uhh you mean greg raymer?

  • Do they buy in with cash money? like 100k in actual cash?

  • @MrTrainPainter yup. thats why they have both chips and stacks of real money at the table.

  • sheiki douchebag sheikan is a fish !!!

  • Man, I just watched season 7 and now I'm watching this season right after. What a steaming pile of crap season 7 is compared to the first one. More amateur players that annoys me with their bad plays and bad commentary by Norm. The only thing better is the video quality.

  • "Yes, Daniel you got to show your cards !" :P

  • doyle brunson is the man. what a baller. i want to be like hiim.

  • im glad they got rid of johnny chan. that dude is so fucking weird just listening to his head phones not saying a word.

  • aaah as much as i hate Phil Hellmuth, I've gotta love Phil Hellmuth...

  • why do i all of a sudden have to watch a fucking advert before every single fucking clip?

when will you advertising or spamming cunts understand that i, nor will a majority of anyone with an IQ over 110 buy, click or do anything related to any ad or spam. so fuck off and keep your adverts on the daytime tv channels for the pikeys to sit there drooling at.

  • @b0ilhawk

This kind of advertising isnt directed at anyone with IQ 110+ :-) Its more something for the Forrest Gumps out there.

  • @k3nny111 haha of course, i know that, the sad fact is 110 is completely average at best and the way the world is going most people fall under that 'benchmark' now :(

low and behold and ad started when i came to reply to this... nightmare.

  • At 24:02 someones says "big pair" right after the waitress with the big pair bends over LOL.

  • I don't play poker but it was pretty obvious to me that Hellmuth played terribly when Deeb had the kings over full house.

  • FUNNY WATCHING PHIL HELLMUTH GETTING ARSE RAPED HAND AFTER HAND, MADE ME SMILE

  • hahah phil helm. disign bag !! hahaha ahahahhahaha 20:48 hahahahahahahahahha

  • everyone just keep getting AAs, wtf?

  • he only gave us a $50K tantrum...lol

  • Comment removed

  • 20:13 LOL.

  • love watching hellmuth suffer

  • i hate that towards the end that the audio and video is out of sync :/

  • Last hand was sick

  • beat beat... calls 10hi flush draw reraiwse 4handend on an AAx board

  • There's always somebody with pocket aces... so weird

  • at 15:08 Barry bets 35k and it gets the pot to 80k. Then hellmuth calls and it becomes 150k? :P

  • welcome back kotter

  • dr pepper? :D

  • isnt it dumb the way the commentators say stuff like - he takes down a pot of nearly 140000$ when in fact the last raise was like 70000$ and it is not called - so in fact they actually win about 35000$. I guess its to attract wannabe poker players to buy and lose ... big.

  • You are a 100% correct sir!

  • Comment removed

  • It is kind of dumb, but its the truth, once the money is bet it is a part of the pot and it doesn't matter if the bet is called or not. So yes the player only profited $35,000 FROM the pot, but that doesn't change the fact that the pot was $140,000 when they took it down.

  • Yes it does -- the uncalled bet is returned to the player and therefore is not part of the pot.

  • In addition, no rake is taken from an uncalled bet because it is not in the pot.

  • Like Baconator said, because any bet is made immediately part of the pot it's accurate to say it's a $140000 pot because that's how big the pot was. It is kinda weird, but that's the way the math works in poker.

  • no I don't think it's dumb, I guess it depends on how you look at it. But to me, if I put money into a pot, it's NOT my money any more. Anyone who's still in the pot can win this money, so therfore if I make a big bet that won't be called, I'd consider the bet as profit aswell, aswell as all the previous bets in the other streets, cuz I might aswell have lost that bet if I WAS called. Makes sense? but yeah it's probably just for advertising.

  • You can consider the bet as part of the pot but you CANNOT consider the uncalled bet as PROFIT. Profit = revenue - expenses... the profit from an uncalled bet is only what was in the pot before you put the uncalled bet into it.

  • Thank you Sir.

  • is that an accounting class?WTF????

  • @todie5 i was thinking the same exact thing...it's like they're saying he's won his uncalled raise back...like you say all he's won is half the pot before his raise, assuming two players

  • so good to see big mouth getting crushed

  • I can't even imagine how much money that dealer is making from the players...

  • Miodrag from Los angeles?

  • gabe dresses like gansta in the show

  • Poor Phil....

  • Poor Daniel

  • Hellmuth played kind of aggressively, but the only mayor mistake he made on his first buy in was to call with top pair after two reraises. That put aside he was really unlucky with the hands he had vs. the hands he ran into, although it is kind of enjoyable to watch him lose :D

  • feel sorry for the magician

  • lol how about Hellmuth?! God, he ran into some sick hands...

  • who cares about Hellmuth

  • LOL@24.01 Big pair indeed!

  • that plastic bag phil had = cheap

  • famous designers bag!!

  • i see many season already,1st not much bluffer..2nd all players everytime got pair sure put money? Can check 1st?And have many things wan say but waste time...

  • You my friend, is an idiot.

  • You is? You got some great grammar going right there mate!

  • 05:23 hahahahahahahahahahahaha!

  • They play cold hard cash, and the blind doesn't go up...it is real poker, not tournament, where at some ppl is all in all in all in, u know?

  • Please I need some info: why are cash games so different from tournaments?

What's the logic behind this reasoning?

  • If you bust in a tournament thats it and you are out.

If you bust in a cash game, you can rebuy.

  • first, your buy in for a tournament is everything you are risking vs a cash game where you can buy in multiple times, and as you can see these guys are playing at a level where a single bet is often a multiple of the wsop main event buy in. also the blinds keep goin up in tourney which forces play and widens the margin of playable hands. in cash you can and should play a tighter range to protect your bankroll.

  • man i cant believe dan lost 600k damnnnn

  • he lost 300k in s1 ... i watched like every season now, and after seeing all this stuff, i really believe he got lucky in tournaments winning like 8 mill, but hes a really loose player, he makes huge gambling moves and trying to trap alot, he deservs loosing that much tbh

  • pause at 1.40 gabe kaplan =peedo

  • Shawn Sheiky is a bitchy man. He comes out like a jurk and a horrible player.

  • Horrible player? For a horrible player he sure as hell is standing his ground well against the best in the world. :) Arrogant TV imagine, that's all.

  • @eksentric He's a complete cunt! Did you see last game? He started that shit about deeb going south then turned the blame on other players. Such a dick

  • Daniel is a great poker player he won 4 wsop bracletes,he won over 9 million in tournaments,he won a lot of money in side games,he had pretty bad run on hsp even in season 5 and i feel for him not only he is a great player he is a great person,he had farha draw out on him twice when he had nutz straight, and when he had set,and mim flop a higher straight thats pretty sick, then he runs with monsters on Hansens quads, lindgrens quads after floping the nuts, than benyamin quads, then ziigmund with j6.

  • bahahaha!!!!!!!! i love ur attitude!!!! haha!!!

  • Shush child.

  • negreanu better in tournaments

  • obviously you won't play your best if you're stuck half a million, flopping straights and getting drawn out on.

  • ok...this episodes women might be the best they've had. All i do is wait for a hostess to pass by on camera.

  • How ricketty is this table? For a game with this much money you think they could afford a decent sturdy table. Or at least get some one to stick a coaster under one of the legs. No wonder they stopped playing at the nugget

  • daniel plays a shitload of hands what do u expect

  • phil's trademark all in... hilarious!

  • the best part is how they do a instant replay lol, like it's a highlight....

  • I like Daniel so much... but hes soooooo unlucky in the high stake show! poor him!

  • and he still is.

  • good game

  • ManUtdforevar me too maybe but never forever.Ha ha keep paying your money to AIG and Man U you victims the great team.Esfandiari sucks lol...

  • Sammy and Freddy have got the same accent. Are they both lebanese?

  • yes, google is your friend

  • Esfandiari showed a lot of skills in this Epeisode

Laid AA down once and got every one fooled with AA second time he got it.

  • you suck!

  • So what is your definition?/ Someone who is willing to gamble?? Anybody can gamble. The mark of a great player is a guy who wins!!

  • with all that said, i still like phil a lot and enjoy watching him.

maybe i am even wrong, and he is just advertising a poor table image on HSP to take advantage of it in future HS games so people believe he plays cash games like a donk.

maybe.... or could be that he just really does play cash games like a donk.

  • Gabe's got that ill cotter stache in season 1

  • SO UR MOTHER

  • really unlucky hand for phil at 16:15

  • A big pot part of Phil's game is intimidation. ie getting amateurs to fold for fear of his wrath. The pros arent afraid of him at all. But he is one of the funniest people I have ever seen.

  • very well said. if you can fall for his intimidation act, as the above mentioned and most amateurs do, then he will dominate in those sit.

but on HSP, he is almost a joke, though everyone likes him and his antics are great for the show.

  • DAMN those barmaids are hot...

  • That was probably the worst 3 hands someone ever played in hs poker.

Phil Hellmuth looked like an idiot, that was priceless =)

  • Phil Hellmuth biggest problem is Phil Hellmuth and there's no cure for that...

But I hear they are working on a Vaccine.

  • Why did you capitalize "vaccine"?

  • Because... its a person? Or no wait. A place. Definetly, a place.

    Its like the Vatican.

  • 4:56 - 2 big pairs walking behind Barry Greenstein! hahahaha

  • oops; It's 3:57

  • These guys are a joke man Phil played terrible here but hes one of the greatest players in the world. Give me a break.

  • These players are good all-around; Cash games, tournaments, H.O.R.S.E event. Phil? A really good NL Texas Hold'em tournament player... will never win the H.O.R.S.E event... therefor not that much of a Poker player (compared to ''these'' guys)

  • Hold em is the only poker that matters. Phil has 11 wsop bracelets the most of all time and hes much younger than chan and doyle at 10. There is 0 evidence to say that a better no limit hold em player has ever lived

  • You're a joke, go fuck youself and after that commit suicide please.

  • tournaments and cash games are two different animals. yes Hel is a great player, no doubt, but he is not considered one of the better cash game players around and often gets gobbled up by the other guys on HSP. so no, that isn't evidence that he is the best NLH player ever. just one of the greatest tournament players (not all around player).

many say Chip Reese (was), others say Phil Ivey is one of the best all around players.

don't even get me started on Stu Unger who isn't even here now.

  • yeah hes always wondering why the blinds arent going up

  • i love that people continually talk about WSOP bracelets and how that relates to how great that makes him. tourny play is just one facet. and what it usually means is that you are really good at beating amatuers since that is what WSOP is mainly made up of.

the truly great players are known for their cash game reputation and ability to play any kind of poker, not just one kind.

yes Hell is the best NL tourny player of all-time this does not = the best player of all-time. not even close!

  • Agreed: Helmuth = top 5 or best NL tournie player. not in that level with cash games or any other form of poker. Still among elite though.

  • 14:25

Gabe: "There's no way that Freddy Deeb can call this."

    Freddy: "No kidding."

Gabe: "Wasn't talking to you, Freddy! Call if you want to..."

That was perfect...Gabe Kaplan is the best commentator ever!

  • 13,55 xD

  • It takes a lot of experience to fold AA just like Esfandiari did. Usually people, even if they do not feel comfortable, cannot get rid of the bullets. But that's the Magician :)

  • PRETTY MUCH NO ONE WON WITH ACES

  • "It's official, Phil Hellmuth is steaming and he is steaming at the wrong time.

Because Freddy Deeb has flopt 2 pair, Oops make that a full house"

    Love that comment

Think Gabe is a really good host for that show.

And sorry to say this to the Hellmuth fans, but I don't like his was around this cash game.

  • 32:52 yummy

  • hellmuth is a whiney babelmouth and i cant stand him, but no one can say hes anything else then a really good poker player.

  • He played bad on HSP season 1 and got owned. He is great against amateurs in tournaments but against top pros its different.

  • haha sheiky is kinda of a jerk

  • daniel lost a lot of money...... over 700,000 dollars

  • wow hellmuth is by far the worst poker player at the table. daniel was right when he said he could get his money back now

  • worse cash player

    best tournament player

  • Hellmuth is the absolute worst.

  • Hellmuth is the absolute best in NLHE.

  • yup

  • 20:30 Sheiky says 'i had 78 off suit'. Great, we all really care...douche.

  • best Entré ever when phil hellmuth comes in

  • Doyle played his full house against Daniel beautifully, when the spade came he knew dan had a flush and was putting him on three aces and Doyle made it look like he was going all in with three aces out of frustration

  • nice waitresses

  • "The book says to raise it, but I'm nervous".

  • glad to see greenstein back

  • greenstein is consistent

  • Freddy Deeb likes to go 'huh'.

  • fuckin homo shieky

dont ever tell me what to do bro

like he would do sumthin about it.

  • nice line-up in this episode

  • Phil seems pretty awful in cash games. They had a cash game on here in the UK on channel 5 where they played 25/50 and 50/100 and Hellmuth just donked off buy ins all night. In season 4 of HSP he wins a ton, but miostly because sammy pisses his money away.

  • "Just let the man talk to himself!"

Haha, this must be one of the funniest episodes I've seen. =D

  • negreanu played like retard this episode.

    as did hellmuth as usual.

  • phil hellmuth plays good

  • when did negreanu get unlucky in this episode...i just see him playing bad

  • That's probably cuz you know nothing about poker.. If you however are serious i will gladly find you the episodes...

  • holy shit Daniel is unlucky.

    he needs to go home.

  • dose anyone knows the lyrics to the themesong?

  • lol if dan hadnt got that split he prolly wuda jumpped out the window lol not that i ever want him 2

  • Really feel sorry for Negreanu....

Was so unlucky for him (

  • "Chips are flying, networks are changing..."

Antonio Esfandiari is one cool guy.

  • net worths, not networks.

  • Aw, dammit.

  • net worth..not network

  • Aw, dammit.

  • Omfg this is so sick to watch my favourite play, Daniel, lose $750 000 pot after pot.

  • I feel your pain haha.

  • phill is the man, but at the start of this episode he wasnt exactly 'world class', but i think he does better later on in HSP

  • Well and correctly analysed. During season 1, Phil got into hands not even he could possibly get away from, unlike in season 4.
