And another thing, as HGJ pointed out, the treatment of Indigenous Australians is the consequence of a belief system at the time that was not created by "Australians" - such an identity and separation from Britain did not exist - but by the British, by a white society as a whole. Chances are it was believed and followed by your ancestors too. So maybe you really are as "guilty" as us.

The worst convicts never left the prisons to make a life and 80% of convicts were larcenists with poor education and living conditions that came to Australia. The people who LIVED and SETTLED in Australia were mainly military and free settlers. Convicts became house-help and assembly-line workers or in prisons. As for aboriginals, that shouldn't be discussed without good understanding
