@TheIntelife You've just touched upon an incredible notion most commonly known as "taste". Each person has their own. This is not to yours, and that is fine. But music is not black and white, and to claim that this is objectively worse than the original makes you an ignoramus. Not once are the vocals out of key, they're just in a lower octave; nothing wrong with them from a performance perspective. More emphasis on the instrumental in this cover, which always makes for a more interesting listen.

The way this is performed ruins the meaning of the song, turning it from something great and memorable into wannabe postmodern contemporary hipster-approved junk. I dislike plenty of things, but this is the first that needed an actual statement.
