Napleon was not France's best general. he was good but not unstopable. He plunged Europe into 2 wars. (or more) His campaigns killed millions. All for what. Now France is small. If he was a good General, he would have captured most of Europe and held it. I mean no offence to French citizens. This is my opion.
i learned that the British played bag pipes during their landings to increase their morale.. Bill Millin was one of their famous bag pipers. I thought he himself portrayed his character in the movie the "Longest Day". Still they changed history and their sacrifice help paid the way through for the defeat of facism/nazism during ww2.
great job on documentary.. today marks the 64th anniversary of D-day. Remembering the brave soldiers who made an inevitable sacrifice for the free world.
it'S not funny quickranger...ure free cuz this men on that day died for yaa freedom...even french soldiers died too for there country and the freedom of the whole world , think about it.
I am from Belgium, and I respect the men that have fallen for the liberation of Europe, and to defeat Nazi-Germany. But that doesnt mean that we still have to kiss your asses today into eternity.
Boycott France. You should learn to hold your tounge. If by pig you mean thanks for saving our asses thats one thing, but to be ungrateful that you don't have to call yourself german is sick. You owe us more than one but we will never get any return from the french, so just sit there and call on us when you need help again.
thats not true not every french guy in the country surrendered some escaped to england or hid and still fought the germans but kept a low profile so the nazis didnt kno there was a french rebellion and it was easier once D-Day was reached cuz US troops helped out wat was left of the french
if it werent for america you'd be lying on the ground stabbed by germans the americans saved your french ass lives so respect the us the british and the soviet
everybody forgets the Canadians... we did our part in both wars but its always the USA that gets the recognition. very sad and disrespectfull situation.
@cannibal23 oh come on, it was a group effort why does it have to be a competition... your men were just as brave and its not like we in america dont know just how brave you were.
Pretty good. SOrry to say the Hitler's quest isn't over if u look at Aryan members like The Red Hot Chili Peppers, aryans who heil Mary and bless Hitler still on Hitler videos, etc...and Jews who are still slaves to Aryanism or make their wealth from their propoganda still like Edgar Bronfman Jr has done. All in the name of Anti Semistism. Everyone's life lost for that reason. Do people still play deaf? Yes.
They died for us and what do we do? We allow people like Bush to have power and the rise of the Islamic extremist and do nothing. How will we respond if they ask us why?
Nice but they were two Infantry Divisions. 1st Infantry at Omaha and 4th at Utah. The Bombing runs failed horribly at Omaha. They used B-17s and most of the bombs fell short of the Beach. However, at Utah beach B-26 Mauraders were used so the bombing was much more efficent. The Canadian beach (Juno, was the worst for the British. Plus there was 3,000,000 service men were used for this Invasion. Other than that, not to bad.

Good stuff, but you need to speak with a little more confidence. You've got a good voice, but there were times I was straining to hear.
Overall, a very good vid, though. That last part especially was very moving, and you made excellent use of the videogame footage.
