You are mistaken. Adam (as well as all of us) is the creation of God. He "spoke" and we existed. God spoke the Word and Christ existed. The difference is that Christ and God has the same nature. You are right. Christ is not dead, he is ALIVE! Christ was crucified and died on the cross. This does not mean that God died on the cross, just Jesus's body. For 3 days he decended into hell to rescue the lost souls there. The he rose from the dead (his body came back to life). He died on the cross from your and my sins so that we can have eternal life. God controls every thing. God does not send people to hell. We send our selves to hell when we turn away from them. When we can see a little of the bad consequences of turning away from God when we turn away from him on earth (hatred, murder, unhappiness, no joy). This will be much more and eternal in hell.
