...on another note, having to clutches work simultaneously to shift between gears is all fun and dandy, but what is its purpose on an auto it's not like you can control/feel the car too well. that's right that clutch pedal does miracles...not clutch pedal = disaster. besides, I'm sure that if they can make a dual clutch for AT, they can come up with a similar concept for the MT sooner or later. A dual processor computer also runs faster than a single processor...just a thought.

Simply, DSG is faster engaging, but this is not enough to make a big difference, and also this is only useful in the first 3 gears, after that it is not better than a manual box.
Agree with you pal! i own a megaen r26, i prefer 30 more HP than a DSG gearbox, and believe me stock vs. stock i smoke GTI's, GLI's and Pirelli's GTIs jaja
@voytopuesto you are very wrong my friend the DSG IS faster tthan any manual, they did test it from multiple sources and theres even videos on here of the reviews showing DSG to be faster on track and drag (top gear or 5th gear i believe)
