What an era that was. Thank you my sweet for knowing about this and compiling it as a video! Damn you are good and really know your shit!!
thank God there are people like you that appriciate music enough to dust it off for The younger generations that are fcking tirred off this fake produced seelling music that rolles on in this decade
Oops, sorry 'bout that - I could have sworn I saw Peter in there but I must be mistaken! (If you haven't seen it yet, however, I do highly recommend "The Trip"...)

@marrrrrrks I got it off Vol. 5 of the Green Crystal Ties comp. There is only this song and the B side which is called "It's A Hassle". Here is the only info given about this band from the CD liner: "The Nickel Bag were on Chicago's Rembrandt Records. With Middle Eastern and psych influences the band was given a hip name which ended up doing them more harm than good".

This footage is culled from the 1967 film "The Trip", starring Peter Fonda, directed by Roger Corman, written by Jack Nicholson. Check it out!

Loving this entire collection of rare 60s sights and sounds. It's good to find others who dig the culture. VERY cool. Thanks for posting!

You can hear how this influenced the early 90s Madchester brigade: sounds a bit like Inspiral Carpets...
