  • You had more control than hastings1533, but he was more innovative in structure planning. Your sound had more diversity in character, but hastings1533 payed more attention to the syntax ( the whole sentence and its replay were evident to the listener.) Your decisions as music players are trying to follow an historical sense, thus your work and sound are quite isolated. "hastings1533 decisions were based on the defects of his instrument.

    You are both very good

  • Thanks for sharing! Never knew Mendelssohn wrote organ pieces.

  • It's too bad that too few people actually know. He did not compose that many works, but in this case the 'quality before quantity' concept works perfect! I wish someone could record the six organ sonatas and upload to YouTube, they deserve being shared with the internet congregation! :)

  • Thanks for sharing! Please bring more of Mendelssohn's organ works to YouTube!

  • Your video clip is great and I've rated it as awesome. Please check out mine on an old trading card set of classical music composers: Mendelssohn, Schubert, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and many more included.
