I just started doing this 4 days ago. What I use (because I'm also very cheap) is the glossy side of the 50cent white boards that you can get just about anywhere and the gloss 96cent spray paint from Walmart. Works out fine for me.

I like it but it's more of a craft rather than art. It's pretty limited too. It just seems to be space scenes & mountains.

the art is only limited to what you can imagine it to be. space scenes and mountains are just the most commonly made. if you look at the people who are good, they do all sorts of different things.

Hahahaha, well I find a stencil of three helicopters plus soldiers a far cry from a circle. You have to work with a lot more and be a bit more creative when you have a much simpler "stencil."

dust masks won't help much, If you plan on doing this alot, then you should get a real mask or you can get very sick and cause damage to brain cells(I'm a living example)

ya, the gas masks filter out microscopic paint particles which can be very harmful. dust masks wont do that.

these people all suck balls, but there are spray painters of this genre with tru artistic ability. search "GANIMIDES" [w/o the quotes]. that guy has true talent. The painting aroind 2:40 is a weak attempt at copying that video.
