@robbienakata ,Thanks I hope to get in contact with him soon, I've made a user account for the forums and will see what i can can gain from there, but from what i gather it seems to be a problem with my webcam drivers, I've updated both windows and the webcam's drivers yet still get a blue screen (Page_Fault) error.
Even after reinstall of the webcam+updates. Well I will try to keep in touch as i am very busy with work lately. Thanks again.☺
@SentryGun53 Hey man sorry I don't check my youtube account very often. Hmm okay well that would definitely make sense why it wasn't working so great. In all honesty I haven't had much time to mess around with it since finishing that class but hopefully i will in the future. I used a mosfet i believe because all the relays i had weren't working with the arduino. Thanks for helping me get an a in that class!
hey this is pretty awesome. all you need is some PID (proportional integral derivative) control to get rid of the jerkiness. MAE 106 will teach you all about it.
Im attempting to make one of my own but the software gives me a blue screen when its ran =-(.

hey robbie, it's Bob from Project Sentry Gun. Nice job with the finished project! looks like you got the Turret_05_13 code working well.
Just a tip for the tracking, it's not meant for such close range. More like 30 to 40 feet away from the camera.
Also, are you using a servo for the trigger, or a relay or Mosfet?
cheers!
