I always liked how each main batman villain (altleast a lot of them) are really just insane. Like the ventriloquist is really just insane and has multiple personality disorder in some of his versions.

Why did Batman let Ventriloquist go free? Even if he wasn't in total control of his actions, he's still a mass murdering criminal.

scarface and ventriloquist have always been my favorite villians. It's most unlikely duo you can imagine. It's a nerd and an ugly ass puppet. Where else are you going to find villians as unique as this?
