  • The law keith references is very old grant you, but it was created to deal with KKK demonstrations. Nice to know he's supporting the rights of klans men every where. He needs to hire better writers/researches. He just keeps looking stupid.

  • Keith is horrible

  • i suggest you ask both the democrats and the republicans what is happening with your retiremant funds you gold and any other union funds too

  • I love how all these Ron Paul faggots hate Keith and his opinion on some of Ron Paul's stances, yet he is pretty much loved everywhere else.

  • @TearsOfWar1 I don't like Keith and I don't really like Ron Paul either.......So FUCK YOU WITH A JEWISH PENIS!

  • What tv is keith watching? It was on every day all the time. They had no clear message, and they were allowed to break the law for most of their protest. The President and candidates all commented on the protesters. They're frustrated and angry, so what join the club. The rest of us have been busy working and looking for work! Anyone else able to take 3 months off to camp, do drugs, and have sex in public? Sorry I forgot harass the "pigs". Look up their goals it's shocking.

  • @WhiteTrashBarbarian For starters Keith was talking about newspapers and not tv.

Secondly, nice straw man fallacy. Your description of the OWS protesters is really childish and holds absolutely no value.

  • @Yarrick2k5 Well that's how most OWS protesters behave. Whiny kids who have their hands out. They're a waste of space which I'll take a wild guess and say that pretty much describes you as well. Sorry you won't get everything handed to you because you want it. Come join us in the real world.

  • @WhiteTrashBarbarian A swing and a miss with your wild guess. it's funny how you assume and judge my life even though you don't know a thing about me. Anyway, i won't reply after this. All i wanted to do was highlight your straw men and misguided criticism

  • @Yarrick2k5 Well let's say I know your type and considering you've run off I pretty much figure I nailed it pretty well. How exactly did I misrepresent myself? You do know just because you don't like someone else's opinion doesn't make them wrong right? The only thing OWS accomplished was creating police overtime.

  • @WhiteTrashBarbarian But you don't know who i am and am making a baseless supposition of who i am and then cowardly trying to demonise me to be some lay about. I have no problems with your oppinion nor did i mention anything against your oppinion. All i originally stated is that you used a common fallacy example - the straw man. And that you made the comparison to all media when really Olbermann only mentioned newsprint.

  • @Yarrick2k5 I asked how I misrepresented myself, and I didn't do that which is what a straw man does. He mentions all media. I'd watch beyond the first two minutes. Like I said I know your type. Btw the rest of us spell opinion with one "p". As to cowardly I know you wouldn't say a damn thing if we were in the same room, so don't even bother trying that route. So goodbye loser.

  • @WhiteTrashBarbarian Also you regularly assume the 'type' of person i am. I put forward to you to name which Myers-Briggs type indicator i am them. If you name the one i am then I will concede and accept that you know what kind of person i am. Otherwise if you're wrong or don't do this then you might as well be glad that i can't bitch you across the internet

  • @Yarrick2k5 The more resistant you are the more I think I hit it on the head. I don't have time for a psychological survey to know your a loser though. So go away, but work on your spelling and grammar. lol So brave online.

  • @WhiteTrashBarbarian Non sequitur after non sequitur. You have nothing and all you play is the internet tough guy act. Lets not forget that humourous attempt at being a grammar nazi.

  • @Yarrick2k5 Yes and you said you would stop responding, but it seems I'm bothering you, but I have better things to do with my time. As to my attempt are you serious? lol you make mistakes in every post. Takes away from whatever point your trying to make my unwashed friend.

  • @WhiteTrashBarbarian I did say i wouldn't respond but sometimes ignorance and stupidity must be challenged. I was originally serious since the whole OWS movement and what it's trying to highlight is quite a serious issue. But you lack of seriousness and attempts at slander reveals your flaws both as a person and in your original statement. I've made my point quite clear a number of times now. And please, i have itches more bothersome than this little silly discussion.

  • @Yarrick2k5 Funny how I was regarding you as a rash. Something annoying and really of no consequence, but still needs to be dealt with. As to OWS there are series issues that need to be dealt with, but the people camping out and playing drums in the street have the worst solutions. It's a simple fact they're easily ignored and nothing will be changed. I think I yanked your chain, so I do believe I accomplished something besides educating. All and all I feel pretty good.

  • @WhiteTrashBarbarian What issues that must be dealt with then? I take valid criticism with respect but what you originally called them i had no respect for. They have the right to protest, and to keep the issue of crony capitalism and it's cancerous effect it has on society and politics open. And it's a little sad to see your self masturbatory egoism.

  • @Yarrick2k5 Nobody said they didn't have the right to protest. I encourage idiots like you everyday to express yourselves in this wonderful free society. What seems shocking to you is that someone objects. I'm curious do you know what the words you use mean? You liberal foot soldiers are so cute. Goodbye now some of us have to be productive today.

  • @WhiteTrashBarbarian You didn't object anything. You just characterised all OWS as 'take 3 months off to camp, do drugs, and have sex in public? Sorry I forgot harass the "pigs"' whilst I've met some of the protesters here in the UK down at the stock exchange there have been an array of people from many walks of life. There are even WW2 veterans and Nobel laureates in and supporting the movement. People who have done more than us two combined. So this proves you wrong.

  • @WhiteTrashBarbarian you might also want to drop the 'herr derr liberals' attitude and trying to insinuate your opponents as being unproductive. It really just highlights your immaturity.

  • Wbhat a left-wing tool Keith is....

  • Keith Olbermann? Heh. More like Keith DERPERMANN!!!

  • @L0OOOooooOOOOOOOOL Nice comeback. I like Ron Paul, but it's idiots like you that back him that make me leery to give my support.

But yes, heaven forbid I offer a differing opinion on these "brave" souls of Occupy that you so adore. Ever wonder if the "brainwashed" aren't on both sides? Nah, of course you haven't. Shine on you "99%."

  • STOP SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) Bill & the free speech & censorship of the internet. Keep up the good work guys. Hey Congress it's we the people by the people remember?

  • This comment has been removed by internet police

  • This comment has been removed by SOPA

  • @L0OOOooooOOOOOOOOL So you're just waiting for these people sleeping in parks to "fix it all for you?"

The "fat cats" will just change their minds, and because some hippies without an apparent personal responsibilities can sit in a park for months at a time your life will get better? Wow, keeping wishing and share some of those drugs with us...

  • He has a really big fucking head!

  • Keith Olbermann as it wrong... If this was the Tea Party was doing this he would speak against it. I'm a shame a being a Democrat now.. Well after this it want be no more... I don't know what I'm going to become, but forget the demos..

  • Over educated? Education in America = Fail. Their list of demands is one of the dumbest things I've read all year.

  • Obama puts down Wall Street, but their is biggest backer.. He puts down the rich, but what is he.. A rich man.. He said he was a christian, but who does he pray to... You're here on the internet.. Look things up like I did.. Don't take my word.. See for yourself.. Then you can see all the lies he as said..

  • I'm a Democrat.. But I not voting Democrat... I wish alot of the other Democrats vote for someone else.. If Bush lied, what as Obama been doing..

  • @06281957 trying to fix the damage of said lie. Bin Laden is dead Iraq is over stem cell research has restarted healthcare passed gays can serve openly that's a good amount of things done. What lies has he told if I may ask? I'm not being a smartass I honestly want to know.

  • @06281957 Trying to fix this country. The Cons in congress are blocking everything he tries to do against what is right for the American people.

  • What they said led the actions that caused the mess. If Fwank was truthful about Fannie, the situation could have dealt with years before, but he was one of the top 3 recipients of money from them, along with Obama, wow. Also This stimulus was a failed 'action'. If you blame Bush for the wars, you should blame both sides, they had to vote on it. Obama doesn't even vote on his wars, like Libya, he just goes in..

  • If we want a change ,we don't need to just go to the streets,

We have to stop supporting the billionaires economically , without using their banks , buying their products , etc

We have to continue educating each other about what is going on in this planet ,

the soldiers must know that they are not fighting for freedom , they are given their lives only for the global interests of the billionaire , if we continue fighting each other , we will end up destroying this planet,

  • @TransparentSea33 Just ignore stkt1986, it's not worth feeding the trolls, I've seen his other comments on Ocuppy Wallstreet and they're all the same, he's obviously just here to stir the pot.

  • Keith Olbermann = Liberal Bill O'reilly

  • @skillcosby88 actually, he happens to be socialist. Big difference.

  • I don't have financial problems. I work for my money. I don't spend months bitching about how I deserve other peoples money. Thats the difference me and the OWS losers. I don't owe you shit. Get over it. Get a job. Oh, and take a shower. Nasty hippies.

  • @stkt1986 The only 'financial' problem OWS has (AS DOES/SHOULD EVERYONE WORLDWIDE) is an objection not bc others have more, its that THEY BUY THE GOVERNMENT WITH IT. You. Fool.

  • @TransparentSea33 and they have more because they BOUGHT the government.

  • @dalecampbl7 Yea, ignore the facts, that's how these idiots ended up bitching on the streets.

  • @stkt1986 what are you talking about? Protesting Wall St. isn't right because Wall St. had nothing to do with the Great Recession? Because GOP tax cuts in a time of wars and recession is good for the infrastructure and growth of the country? Because ending tax loopholes hurts THE MIDDLE CLASS? Keep arguing stupidity buddy, keep spewing ignorant rhetoric...the whole country knows its the Republicans and their 0.1% donors who ruined our economy and got richer and reelected for it.

  • @dalecampbl7 Barney Fwank " Fannie and Freddie are financially sound", and VP Joe Biden " The first person we called for advice was Jon Corzine", who 'misplaced' $1.2 BILLION , and Obama's failed 'stimulus'. You still blaming republicans? Really? Pathetic ! Like the losers at ows, they VOTED for this, they got it. These losers bitch about the government, but live off their government checks, they got what they voted for, they got what they earned, NOTHING !!

  • you know why I blame bush? IRAQ/AFGHAN = $2trillion....tax cuts = a couple $trillion .... and deregulation = $a few more trillion RECESSION. You keep pointing out at things that liberals have said...but point to some action you fool...open your eyes and EARS!!

  • @TransparentSea33 The "fools" are sleeping in tents in the cold. I'm in a warm bed.

  • @stkt1986 this WORLD WIDE movement isn't about YOUR money, you nasty bitch! It's about sinister problems all over the world!

  • @gerri577 You are correct, those worthless entitlement seekers are everywhere !!!

  • CLASS WAR ? OCCUPY WALL STREET IS THE FRONT LINE

  • Who cares what prick olbermann thinks or says ! Hes a liberal horses ass and only the sheep libs listen - and they are no bodies as well.

  • "Training wheels"

  • Keith Olberman is so full of shit it isn't funny. He is a prophet of idiocy!

  • @77advisor

No, that would be all the people over at Fox News.

  • Republicans are to blame. They have deliberately blocked any bills that the President wanted to put people back to work. Next stop for protesters should be Washington to pepper spray every fuckin Republican obstructionists. LET THE WORLD KNOW THE TRUTH. CIRCULATE THIS VIDEO AND EDUCATE THE WORLD. We are not an example of the best in human rights anymore. We are dying as a country.

  • @carlobari60 In his first two years of office, Obama had a Democratic Senate and House. He could of run the table, but did nothing for the working man. He is not for the working class, he just wnats people to think that he is.

  • @oscarashes GOP SENATE FILIBUSTER RULES KILLED ALL REFORM !!!

  • @kn9ioutom Obama never has offered any serious tax reform or budget plans. The one budget plan he did come up with, was rejected by his own party in the Democratic Senate 99 to 1. Total lamb efforts throughout his tenure in the White House has got us where we are..

  • If you are not filthy rich and have a problem with these protestors, you're thinking clearly.

These people fight to PREVENT you from gaining by your own efforts. They demand Government take more and more from employers, which causes YOUR cost of living to go up and costs YOU a job.

OWS are your worst enemies, even if you're living on the dole. They demand more of the sort of Socialism that is currently destroying the USA and European nations. It all comes crashing down if they win.

  • @AmericaSpeakOut1 Well said. The middle class is also overtaxed, because 47% of people don't pay taxes at all. Everybody should pay their fair share! I think the working middle class should "occupy the OWS"!!

  • @oscarashes Sheesh, not the "47% of people don't pay taxes" dodge again. That's been long debunked. Those people don't pay INCOME taxes, but they pay payroll, sales, and other taxes. Surely it's fair to have a lower tax burden on the people with, y'know, less money? Meanwhile, taxes on the higher tax brackets are lower than they've been in decades.

And stop with the "Oooooh! Socialism!" crap. America's had an element of socialism since it began. It's not a monster under your bed.

  • @Prankster36 Okay then, let's look at it this way. Raise corporate tax from 38% to 90%. The government collects all this new money. Now what happens? Will the govt start redistributing the new money to the people? Can I expect a check? Sounds good, but it won't happen. The govt will keep the money for themselves and meanwhile business's will leave the country. Import tax for the working class- what a novel idea. And also, 47% of people don't pay income tax - that's a fact Jack!

  • @oscarashes

I don't believe the Occupiers want to radically raise the corporate income tax. I see their main points as closing loopholes, getting rid of corporate welfare and getting corporate money out of politics. All reasonable requests. Those 47% don't pay income taxes because they don't make enough. They do, however, pay other taxes.

  • @xMadReaperx These are reasonable requests. Some corporations hardly pay any taxes all all because of the loop holes.(i.e GE). But these issues have to be dealt with by the government through legislative change. Picketing Wall Street isn't going do anything.. The OWC may have success by showing strong support in the upcoming elections. But still, when they speak of :"disparity of wealth", nothing will ever change that. In capitalism you will always have that downside.

  • If you are not filthy rich but have a problem with these protesters, you're a moron..

  • Are there paid Right Wingers to troll where liberals gather? Is it some kind of campaign to make it look like they are the majority for those who just blindly follow the crowd? I hope Obama wins if for only to see all their heads burst.

  • Liberals are dreamers. Republicans are realists. Republicans are employed. Liberals are walking the streets and asking for other peoples money.

  • ....America LAUGHS at you occutards.....

  • the provocation of is wrong (hence the lack of coverage). the response is wrong (pepper spray anyone?). ...america :,(

  • Yahoo you lie your bought.you mind your masters now ok.Boycott Yahoo their bought and paid for.Because our news stations has suppressed our news till no one watches it.I only watch you and RT.YouTube and their trying to take these from us. .Shame on America.

  • @1Littleagger I would recommend TYT.

  • @1Littleagger You may be right...I was on a discussion page talking about Obama and the fact that congress has been blocking all of his economic programs and they blocked me from commenting. I didn't use any profanity and didn't threaten anybody. Now I have to go through extra security checks to check my email or comment on a news piece! Yahoo is officially FASCIST!!!

  • awesome Keith from Canada!!!

  • why no media coverage? Who owns the media? The people that own the media are who the protesters are against. Democracy is not freedom. The politicians are bribed by the corporate banking america. The corporate banking system wants SLAVES, they want a NWO, where people are serfs, they dont want freedom.

  • Part 2

When, in reality, the MAIN message the protestors have been saying all along is that they're PISSED OFF with the BANKING SYSTEM and the people in the top 1% bracket of wealth screwing everyone over to the tune of BILLION DOLLAR bailouts sending everyone else to poorhouse and never being held accountable for it. BIG DIFFERENCE.

  • Part 1

Unfortunately, I gave this video a thumbs up prematurely. I thought Olberman and his guest were going to engage in legit journalism. But, instead, he and his guest sugarcoated the true intentions of the protestors and chalked them up to a group of young, disgruntled college students pissed that they're out of work.

  • msnbc is WAY MORE BIAS than fox news, im not a rebulican but holy shit this is complete bull. PEACE

  • @y494231002 too bad olbermann is not on msnbc.

  • I'm so proud of those people that are out there, I hope soon they'll have solid point in the political side. We know that which political party are for middle class and the poor, so when the time to vote , get the party of " No !"out from their offices!!

  • @Seasonchange1 i agree---it's obvious that obama and the democrats are against the poor and middle class, and always have been.

vote no more four years against obama----seasonchange sez so.

  • @Seasonchange1 I agree. As soon as we get Obama and the Democrats out of office, the OWC will see some great changes for the working class.

  • @oscarashes tuff luck, ingonrant fool, obama has already been chosen by an elite class. get informed. And not by Faux!

  • @Seasonchange1 You're proud of them? A group of people collectively unsure of how their own success would be defined?

There becomes a point when people need to stop pointing and saying "why does he/she have this and I don't" and just get to work themselves. It's surprising how things work out when you don't blame those more successful for your lack of actual effort. (No, sleeping in parks and standing in drum circles isn't actually "effort.")

  • When the political Left secure power, you will cry.

You should listen to the people who fled from Socialist oppression only to be horrified that it is taking control of the USA now.

  • Keep the faith and peacefully protest!

Keith Olbermann is a hero just as Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC. Heroes for not falling for the disinformation on the 1% fox or faux network.

  • @onerealkewlguy .....I AGREED! MSNBC the best news channel !! Of course we love Keith Olbermann !!

  • its time for OWS to get serious and fight back against the thug cops.

  • I respect the Occupy movement. I've wept at the decline of the political left around the world, and I hate every one of you who has disrespected this protest. I wish you would either come to the table. Otherwise, all too soon, the only thing left for the poor to eat, will be the rich.

  • @RandallSavage Wherever the political Left have succeeded in this world, they have brought decline.

Look at Greece, France, the UK, the USA...

When they finally secure power, one is lucky to find any food on the shelves at all. Just ask a former resident of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Or a North Korean, or Cuban...

  • @AmericaSpeakOut1 Ummm, No. You're a fool. The left brings human beings with human failings. The right brings hatred and corruption. It's just the way of the world, and I pity you.

  • There are many movements, corporate and wall street bail out are bowel movements...... need not worry they will reap what they sow, its not as bad as its going to be, my words be marked, it will come and pass as does shit thru asses, except the shit will be landing on "their" heads, when we cant support the monsters that rip us off, they will perish by the very way the benefited initally, RESIST PEACEFULLY take responsibility, life isn't fair we don't need to make it more so, occupy your life

  • to watch movement live: livestream . com / global revolution (omit the spaces). You can also chat live there w/ people all over the word.

  • Poor Keith, now you are on a network that that has less viewers than the bowling channel.. Tooo Bad.....

  • @leftgibson how would u know what the ratings are on current? It's obvious by your response that this channel is over your head. Ignorant people should stick to FOX news to get their fix.

  • @gerri577 Ha Ha Ha did Keith Olberman occupy your gaping anus in the shower after a workout at the Current Studio Gym?? Slap Slap slap...

  • @leftgibson HAHA! HOW MUCH ARE YOU PAID TO LET THE MAN OCCUPY YOUR SHIT-PUSSY?

  • @61TUNER First, wipe your boyfriends shit off your fingers before you address me again, it stinks in here because of you. Now when you are servicing Michael Moore's little chode, do you have to hold up that giant boiler or does he do it for you???

  • @leftgibson YOUR HO-ASS MAMA IS MY BOY-FRIEND. YOUR LIVING PROOF I CORN-HOLED THE BUTT SLUT NINE MONTHS BEFORE"IT"SHAT YOU OUT. MY QUESTION? WHATS IT LIKE TO BE BORN A CRACK-BABY? GET BACK ON THE MANS NUT-SACK. YOU,RE SMELLING HIS JIZZ DRIPPING FROM YOUR SHIT PUSSY. PLUG IT UP BIYACH. AGAIN. THEN TELL YOUR DICK DADDY YOU,RE A PISS POOR PAID SHILL.

  • @61TUNER You sound angry, I understand that you are upset the police will not let you hand out candy on Halloween and you have to stay 1500 feet from all schools. There are several angry fathers and several sore young boys bottoms in your neighborhood so stop it! I suggest castration with a dull butter knife.

  • @leftgibson HOW CUTE. ANOTHER ADVOCATE OF EMILY POST? GUESS THAT MAKES YOU A PROGRAMMED DICK-RIDER. GO BACK TO YOUR KIDDIE PORN SITES. THE ONLY CHO-MO I SEE ON TY IS YOUR TREE JUMPING ASS. I,LL BET YOU REALLY LOVE LITTLE BOYS. PUT DOWN THE CANDY,MOVE AWAY FROM THE SAND-BOX. BUSH WHACKIN PETER PUFFIN PEDO. FURTHERMORE. YOU NEED TO STAY AWAY FROM SCHOOLS AND FAMILY NEIGHBORHOODS. THEN THERE WONT BE ANY ANGRY PARENTS ANYWHERE. GAY LITTLE BITCH-ASS SHILL. LOLZ.

  • If Obama had his way, Osama would still be free and alive.

“We must do whatever it takes to track down and capture or kill terrorists, but torture is not a part of the answer – it is a fundamental part of the problem with this administration’s approach. Torture is how you create enemies, not how you defeat them. Torture is how you get bad information, not good intelligence." Obama on Waterboarding

    WRONG!

  • @VerumJusticia >>If Obama had his way, Osama would still be free and alive.

Obama had his way and now Osama is dead. >>“We must do whatever it takes to track down and capture or kill terrorists, but torture is not a part of the answer – it is a fundamental part of the problem with this administration’s approach.

No. There is absolutely no problem with obeying the U.S. laws and International laws. There is a problem of not upholding America's vaules of not torturing. The info that KSM gave...

  • @lerngthngs

Obama did not have his way, which is why Bush's waterboarding continued, which is why Osama is dead.

KSM gave valuable information about not only Osama's courier but plenty of other Al Qaeda activities globally, leading to far more Bush successes than just Osama bin Laden.

  • Oh look, its Mr. Irrelevant!

  • Yes, the Democrats have assumed the power to seize our wealth and give it to whomever they like. They used power of government to kill American businesses to do favors for America's competitors and for their Party supporters. They sue companies like Boeing that try to get free of Democrat-run Unions controlling them.

That is Leftist, Fascist control over the means of production and redistribution of wealth.

And they are turning foreign invaders into a force to outvote Americans.

  • @VerumJusticia "They sue companies like Boeing that try to get free of Democrat-run Unions controlling them." Is that what Faux said? Democrats now control the NLRB and are sticking up for workers unlike before under Bush, the republicans controlled it and did nothing to stop ANY unfair business practices to protect their corporate masters. Boeing had plans to create a second plant in Everett, Washington, but since the labor union refused the 10 year strike bar, Boeing moved to South Carolina.

  • @lerngthngs They have that RIGHT. What was unfair about what Boeing did? Trying to stay competitive in business and NOT moving jobs overseas??? The Unions have DRIVEN jobs out of the country - and yet Boeing decided to try and keep manufacturing HERE, in the U.S.

You want government to FORCE things instead of democracy and freedom.

  • @ToddAldrich I don't want to live in a society where labor works for mininum wage. That doesn't help our living conditions. "They have that right". The unions have the right to bargain. And for their company to move to another state because the union doesn't agree not to strike for 10 years is wrong. Have republicans thought of their families? No, they defend big business again.

  • @lerngthngs Have you figured out why we import so much Chinese stuff?

    1) Government seizing wealth from employers, driving up the cost of doing business.

    2) Unions forcing employers to pay exorbitant benefits even if the company is doing poorly and the employees are not performing well.

General Motors crashed and burned but Obama STOLE OUR MONEY to bail out his union buddies. Too big to fail - and the union bosses put so much dues money in Democrat coffers.

    That's Fascism for ya!

  • @VerumJusticia You mean have I figured out why we import more than export to China? Chinese pay 2.5% U.S. pays 25%. You mean government taxes companies? I'd rather have the more union support than oil companies support. Unions have not always made great decisions, just like any other business. To generalize unions as a whole is, well republican. Union- Work better, live better (better than how republicans want you to live).

  • @lerngthngs Most labor would NOT work for minimum wage - hell even McDonalds pays well over Minimum wage in many areas! Why do you say such things? There is nothing to back that up - NOTHING.

Sure the unions have the right to bargain, and so does management - it is NOT wrong to move to where people are willing to be reasonable. Have YOU thought about the families in South Carolina??? No - you defend those who would otherwise drive those jobs overseas.

  • @ToddAldrich Why would I say that? Because it's true I don't want to live in a society that labor works for minimum wage. The conditions here would be worse for the working class and the poor. I don't defend South Carolina because they are the result of what happened in the first place with Boeing and the Union. Why would I defend jobs going overseas? Aren't republicans in love with globalization?

  • @lerngthngs Most labor doesn't work for minimum wage - a fact that shows you just how stupid your statement is. If the person is worth the money - they get paid. In fact, your unions actually prevent the good workers from earning MORE.

When you defend the Unions and what the NLRB is trying to do with Boeing you ARE supporting and defending and ENCOURAGING jobs to go overseas. You are just too blind to realize it. Republicans - at least the conservative ones, are in love with FREEDOM

  • @ToddAldrich

Take a quick course in economics. If I work hard and develop a software program that makes a company $6M a year in profits, how much am I worth? Personally, I don't care for unions, even though they tend to get a minimum rate for employees. Simply because not all employees work as hard and efficiently as others and this makes it difficult to get a better rate for higher production. However without them, our wages could look like wages in China, comparatively speaking.

  • @traffikator I don't need a quick course - I AM an economist. You need a quick course in both economics and in reality instead of propaganda.

Tell me, are Doctors unionized? Are Chemical Engineers unionized? Seems THEY make BETTER wages than the union members do. It is a LIE that we would have China wages without Unions.

  • @traffikator >> If I work hard and develop a software program that makes a company $6M a year in profits, how much am I worth?

You have done your part to help the entire company profit. Good.

If you worked for yourself or went to the expense and trouble to create your own company, you would have more direct control over the income from your particular code. That's your choice.

I chose to create my own company rather than work for someone else.

    That's Capitalism. That's Freedom.

  • @ToddAldrich Here we go with minimum wage again. I swear you don't comprehend anything. I was making a point that if republicans had there way, labor would be minimum wage or lower. Some want to eliminate it. They want to eliminate unions and villafy it. So when Boeing planned on moving to S.C. after the union refused to be blackmailed, do you think it was a coincidence they immediately started talking about moving out of state?

  • @ToddAldrich And I don't encourage moving jobs overseas. I encourage fair wages, the right to unionize, and employee rights. I don't support WalMart. I'm guessing you do. They have been a huge influence on businesses to either close or move overseas. And forcing the closure of competing retail stores. That is something that I cannot support. Manufacturing jobs and the economy is something I take seriously unlike our dumbass House republicans that are ignorant about job creation.

  • @lerngthngs >> the republicans controlled it and did nothing to stop ANY unfair business practices to protect their corporate masters

The Bush Admin sent the Justice Department to prosecute corporate crooks at Enron, Tyco, Global Crossing, Worldcom... are you ignorant of all this?

Obama just shoveled our money into their pockets to keep them out of court, then invited one of the biggest crooks, Rahm Emanuel ( of Freddie Mac ) to be his Chief of Staff.

    History lesson. Lrn thngs today.

  • @VerumJusticia No I'm not ignorant of all this. I know about the prosecutions, did Bush really have a choice? No. I never liked Rahm, but to say he's a criminal? I think that's going too far. Just like you went too far in "STOLE OUR MONEY" Just like you went too far in "seizing". I know you like to make fun of my name, I didn't want to spell out learningthings everytime I logged in so I shortened it.

  • @lerngthngs >> No I'm not ignorant of all this. I know about the prosecutions, did Bush really have a choice? No. I never liked Rahm, but to say he's a criminal?

Of course he had a choice. Obama chose to shovel our cash into their coffers to keep them out of court.

Rahm Emanuel on Board of Freddie Mac. Misreported profits by billions of dollars in order to deceive investors between the years 2000 and 2002

  • @VerumJusticia Like I said Rahm was never my guy so I will not defend him. As far as a choice, Bush had a choice, but nit much. I just went to the link you gave me, what a joke. it's just a blog with opinions. Might as well send me a link to a forum.

  • @lerngthngs I'm truly not making fun of your name. I'm making fun of your refusal to learn things, just as Todd says.

I may be going overboard on that. Maybe you are learning from the links I'm providing.

I can forgive the fact that mainstream media work VERY hard to deceive the public, to make Democrats look good and Republicans look bad. They happily rewrite history to fool the gullible public.

I bet you never even heard about Bush's work to liberate our nation from Petroleum with Hydrogen.

  • @VerumJusticia "I can forgive the fact that mainstream media work VERY hard to deceive the public, to make Democrats look good and Republicans look bad. They happily rewrite history to fool the gullible public."

And I can forgive you that you're gullible that you didn't mention FOX "NEWS". Also, maybe you've never heard of Keith Olbermann or watched his show- Countdown with Keith Olbermann. He is a liberal with a bias slant that goes after both sides, even the president.

  • @VerumJusticia (cont.) 3) Overseeing the operation of taking out Osama Bin Laden something Bush could not do.

    4) Leading from behind in Libya and chasing Momar out of power. Something Reagan and Bush couldn't do.

BTW It was Obama who was against the (Iraq) war even before it started. So unlike Bush and Cheney brushing them off as volunteers and nothing more, he took military lives seriously and that's patriotic.

So who's is better on foreign

  • @lerngthngs Bush's operation to take out Osama bin Laden succeeded.

Even Obama spoke out against Bush's operation, which included waterboarding key people who had knowledge leading to Osama.

The only credit Obama can claim is that he did not tell Bush's strike force to hold off from killing the guy, like Bill Clinton did.

  • @VerumJusticia "Obama sent our military into a war of aggression against Libya, a nation that was not attacking anyone else." Was that like what the Bush Administration did with Iraq AND Afghanistan? No, Bush lied us into war with Iraq. "Even Obama spoke out against Bush's operation, which included waterboarding key people who had knowledge leading to Osama." Obama spoke out against TORTURE like he should have and anyone else who cares about the rule of U.S. law and International law.

  • @lerngthngs >> Was that like what the Bush Administration did with Iraq AND Afghanistan?

Not at all. Saddam started a war of aggression, sending his tanks into Saudi Arabia and Kuwait to conquer them. The USA led the charge to defeat him. The shooting did not stop in the 1990s and in 1998 Clinton committed our nation to military destruction of Saddam's regime. His attempt failed, Bush finished the job. Mission Accomplished.

Afghanistan WAS Al Qaeda's training center, attacking globally.

  • @VerumJusticia (cont.) Even Rumsfeld said that some information they received did not come from waterboarding. To the contrary of what YOU and others like Liz Cheney believe, no one credible has said waterboarding led to the whereabouts of Osama.

  • @lerngthngs "some" information did not come from waterboarding? But critical information did.

  • @VerumJusticia "The only credit Obama can claim is that he did not tell Bush's strike force to hold off from killing the guy, like Bill Clinton did."

First Bush did not have a "strike force". Obama the Commander in Chief asked the right questions and risked a lot by laying out a STRATEGY something the Bush Administration did not have in Iraq or Afghanistan. Oh and two more words Tora Bora. So the credit goes to the Obama Admin. and the navy seals.

  • @lerngthngs Of course Bush had a "strike force". He had Special Forces working on the Osama bin Laden hunt for a very long time. He laid out the strategy for hunting down Osama, something Obama spoke openly against.

  • @lerngthngs “The secret authorization of brutal interrogations is an outrageous betrayal of our core values, and a grave danger to our security. We must do whatever it takes to track down and capture or kill terrorists, but torture is not a part of the answer – it is a fundamental part of the problem with this administration’s approach. Torture is how you create enemies, not how you defeat them. Torture is how you get bad information, not good intelligence." - Barack (the idiot) Obama

  • @lerngthngs Biden, as well, was against the successful strategy Bush employed to locate and eliminate Osama bin Laden. Schieffer: “Can you Mr. Vice President envision a time where waterboarding can ever be used on anyone?” Biden: “No, no, it’s not effective” Schieffer: “It’s not effective?” Biden: “It’s not effective”

Don't ever vote for a Democrat. They are goddam liars.

  • @VerumJusticia Again, the whereabouts to Osama did not come from waterboarding.

"Saddam started a war of agression". That is not a reason for us to go to war. But that's the problem with right wing warmongers, they have absolutely no problems with STARTING wars because they have no regard for our military. They just brush them off as "volinteers".

  • @VerumJusticia

Yeah Bush's strategy to locate Osama bin Laden was so successful that he took him out. Right! Bush didn't know where he was. He even said he didn't care to go after him. What kind of President wouldn't care about going after Osama? Someone whose daddy has ties to the terrorist - Carlyle Group. And if you believe the 9/11 conspiracy

    maybe that's why.

Torture is not American it's republican.
