  • lol at the people arguing who dunked farther, who cares if someone else was a centimeter further. Let scottie have his shine

  • without jordan there is no pippen. Run and tell that

  • he barely made it and he touch the line.

  • Thats the farthest ive seen anyone dunk from

  • @makpak Theres no pippen without Jordan Bra.

  • It's way further than the second time of michael jordan, but just a bit less than the first time

  • SCOTTIE PIPPEN WAS THE BEST EVER..JORDAN WAS THE BEST COMPLIMENT

  • IBAKA!

  • Scottie sure could play some ball.

  • @bitznpiecez Russell/Cousy was when the league had like 8 teams. There's no arguing their greatness but you have to temper your comment with that knowledge. Kareem had much more than Magic & they didn't kick ass like the Bulls did. And you're correct about Money not being able to do it all by himself.

  • his like jordan

  • ooooohhh pippen got hops

  • @bitznpiecez

"he couldnt be a champ by himself"

Who said otherwise? That was NEVER the initial topic to begin with, so don't even try it..

And U try not to choke on your own stupidity & ignorance. And while you're at it, learn to stay out of a battle of wits because after all, you're SERIOUSLY unarmed..

  • @bitznpiecez

U can childishly call it what U want, but CHI was nothing until he arrived, and his impact on the Bulls from a win/loss standpoint, is indisputable. All U can do is childishly claim he was a ballhog, but his career apg avg is slightly higher than Pippen's.

He was the undisputed best player & driving force on that team, and we both know it. All you're doing now is just posting nonsense because U have no FACTUAL basis to stand on that proves otherwise.

  • @bitznpiecez

1991-98 Bulls record with MJ: 401-108 (79%), 6 rings, avg 65 win per yr pace.

1991-98 Bulls record without MJ: 89-58 (60%), 0 rings, couldn't get out the 2nd rd, avg 49 wins per yr pace.

The rest of your dumb ass comment is so childishly ignorant & sub-sophomoric, that even a novice fan can see what your intent is & what it is itself: utter nonsense..

  • He has Javale Mcgee's dunking ability, just 5 times the skill lol

  • @bitznpiecez

"when michael leads the league in fga and fgm 10x, that obviously has something to do with it"

When you're as efficient as he was at scoring, U SHOULD lead the team in FGA...SMH

Who else on those early teams had the capacity to get it done? Juwan Oldham? Orlando Woolridge? Gene Banks? And later, a rookie Pippen or Grant?

    Man get outta here...SMH

"is basketball all about scoring points?"

    No..

Why don't U go look at who consistently led CHI in PER, which encompasses "overall play".

  • @bitznpiecez

"how come he couldnt do it before pippen, horace grant, dennis rodman, or even phil jackson showed up?"

    U don't think B4 posting do U?

A rookie MJ took a 27 win lottery team that hadn't seen the playoffs since '81, to the playoffs EVERY SEASON as the leader, including the seasons B4 ANY of them showed up! When he was losing on those garbage ass teams, he was lost to either a finalist or the eventual champs!

And he led CHI to 50 wins with Pip avg'n 7ppg off the bench, so spare me!

  • Damn it looks like he's not even trying

  • this years dunk contest one thing that pissed me off is that when ibaka did his FT line dunk is that he jumped actually further than jordan. and he only got a 44 or something

  • @benched4lyfe - No, he didn't

Look up the 1985 dunk contest. Jordan even put tape down on the line to mark where he jumped form.

Jordan's other freethrow line dunks were possibly even better because he actually double pumped the ball - no-one has ever done that from the foul line apart from MJ.

  • Jordan soared though without neccesity of completely leaning or over stretching, a gliding perfect pose with enough room to spare.

  • this one was further than jordans by inches

  • Comment removed

  • michael jordan did not step right behind the line, he was like 4 inches in lol.

  • if you look closely, lebron travelled...

  • damn that nigga ugly, i mean scottie is taller than M.J.

  • אין כמו הדאנק של ג׳ורדן וגם אם הוא ינסה או ניסה לשבור את השיא של ג׳ורדן הוא בחיים לא יצליח.

  • yeah it was a good dunk but everyone knows that dunk is jordans dunk idk who did it first or better its mjs....

  • lebron did that in a game

  • @Kirch21x LeBron didn't do that in a game that dunk was 2 and a half feet ahead of the Free Throw Line, Shannon Brown jumps Higher than LeBron by 2 inches and Shannon Brown can't even dunk from the Free Throw Line. So LeBron obviously didn't dunk from the Free Throw Line!

  • @DBZartist559 what does shanon brown jumping 2 inches high than lebron have anything to do with this at all? lebron is like 10 inches taller than him? Do you use any logic when you speak? also, 2.5 feet is a stretch, maybe 1 foot. still amazing to do in a game. closer than anyone else ever

  • @Kirch21x no one gives a shit about lebron bro.

this is scotties time to shine.......

  • The judges were hating on Scottie in this dunk contest

  • and everyone else

  • mj carried scottie

  • when jordan made it he was still vertical, scottie had to reach out towards the basket to make the dunk work.

  • WTF? :O

  • Further than Mj's. Dont hate. Without Pippen there is no Jordan. Remember that.

  • @MrBenbolt Further than Mj's. But Mj did one that was further in his first contest. And there is no Pippen without Jordan. Know that.

  • @TheSWEATProductions theres no jordan without pippin son

  • @MrBenbolt

    Without Pippen, there's no Jordan?

SMH..that's gotta be 1 of the DUMBEST things I've read on this site.

    33.7ppg 6.2rpg 5.3apg 2.74spg 1.3bpg 49.3 FG% 85.1 FT%

That's MJ's combined avg during the seasons BEFORE Pippen was even on the team! Not to mention in his ROOKIE seasons, he took a 27 win lottery team who hadn't seen the playoffs since 1981 to the playoffs, and in EVERY SEASON after that...again BEFORE Pippen showed up..

    Pippen didn't make MJ...MJ made Pippen...remember that

  • @blackadam06 Honestly, I think it was mutual. Jordan was still an amazing player without Pippen, but Pippen was still an amazing player without Jordan. They complimented each other very well. Pippen was Jordan's force multiplier. The year Jordan stepped out he finished third in MVP voting and put up all-star stats. Pippen never won a ring without Jordan, but Jordan never won a ring without Pippen, either. In the end, yes, Jordan was the better player, he's the best player to ever play.

  • @MrBenbolt - Actually, no it's not.

Jordan dunked from the line exactly in 1985. But people tend to show his other free throw line dunks in the higlights because he double pumps the ball.

  • @MrBenbolt Further? lol umm no he may have stepped like half a foot back for the lift off, but micheal had way more hang time, went higher, and had time to spare when he put it in so sexy.

  • @MrBenbolt You have a strong opinion, and I won't hate... But it was Jordan's free-throw dunk that was a little further, check out his '85 dunk entries. The commentator even said on Pippen "he stepped inside the free-throw line just a little bit.."

And if you remember, Jordan was already blowing away the NBA statistics before Pippen arrived in his first years (remember his 63 points against the best team in the NBA in '86?)

  • @MrBenbolt Jordan actually did 3 dunks from the FT line. His first one was in 1985, and he appeared to be completely behind the line, or at most, an inch or two on top of it.

But Jordan's FT line dunk in 1987 and 1988 were spectacular because he didn't have to reach very much to throw the ball down. He timed his steps so well and got so much elevation that he was able to put in a pump and extend the ball back beyond parallel to his head.

But Scottie gets major credit for actually dribbling.

  • @mrmacross MJ always dribbled during dunk contests. Otherwise totally agree with you on everything.

  • @MrBenbolt True but i think jordan was up higher

  • @MrBenbolt Pippen was within the free-throw line, while Jordan was actually behind it in 1985. Also, Pippen was shit when he entered the league. Face it, without Jordan, Pippen would've stayed a pussy.

  • @MrBenbolt "there is no Jordan" ? you're not hater you just know nothing about basketball.

  • @MrBenbolt ur retarted Jordan would've still dominated the game the way he did. He tought Pippen and Pippen definatly wouldn;'t have tried that furthermore if Jordan didn't u must not know basketball u make it seem like Pippen's better than Jordan since u say that " Without Pippen there is no Jordan" dumbest thing I've ever heard

  • @DAMUSICMAN222 Your just another Jordan dickrider. Jordan was great but MJ, Phil, will tell you they don't win CHAMPIONSHIPS without Pippen. Jordan could win all the scoring titles he wanted but he knew and Phil knew Scottie took that team to the next level. Scottie had his best season when Jordan retired and would have went to the Conference Finals without Jordan if not for Hue Hollins bs call. You people are quick fast to give Jordan credit but fail to give Horace grant and Rodman credit too.

  • @MrBenbolt

    No shit you idiot.

Without Shaq there is no Kobe.

Without Kareem there is no Magic.

Without Ainge/Parish, Mchale there is no bird.

Without Stockton there is no Malone.

    What is your point?

Basketball is a team sport, thus, no one can do it alone.

Without Jordan there is no Pippen.

  • OMG, didnt know that Scottie could dunk like that. I feel so ashamed.

And his freethrow line dunk also looked very elegant too.

  • I never heard of any player saying he's smaller than he is, loads say they're taller, i.e. Sir Charles but never smaller! One of the few guys to actually do it from the line and not half a step inside.

  • mj is the best of all time. pip is one of the best of all time too. i don't understand the argument on a fucking dunk compo dunk...

  • Yo... it doesn't matter who did it first. I'm just saying that MJ looked the best doing it though. He had the leg kick or whatever, but it just looked the best when he did it. I think it was the way he tucked is legs back.

  • that guy named Barry (not Rick) made it look better . White players can jump. All though I hate the whole white vs black bs. Barry did glide with style and it was nothing Bobby Jones or Tom Chambers didn't do IN GAMES. There are other High Jumping white players . Truth not as many as black ballers but if your game is about using what God gave you use it young men use it.

  • Serge Ibaka dunked from behind the free throw line. (:

  • wtf...mj shit...pip shit...wtf...are you all sick or what...they are booth great fuckin players and thats it...mj is my favorite player bla bla...bla...who gives a fuck jordan is probably the best ever but pipp is not to fare also pippen is the one and only

  • Michael Jordan copied Dr. J and you don't hear him being called a copycat so shut the hell up...

  • @Eaglesnut3 but mj and dr j werent on the same team

  • @mogliboy93 Jordan emulated some of his moves from Dr.J and paid "homage" to his free-throw line dunk,he wasn't taking everything he had and calling it his own.

  • @MegaSplash1 thats no the point these guys are wearing the same uniform and played on the same team at the time, idk who did it first everyone knows thats mjs dunk

  • @Eaglesnut3 I somewhat agree with you, but MJ dribbled on all his freethrow dunks which is a little more difficult while Dr. J did not

  • He's a copying Michael JOrdan's dunk! What a copycat!

  • @stockmaster1982 Your fucking retarded, Michael Jordan wasn't the first to dunk from the foul line, Dr. J was........ Don't say something unless you have the facts

  • @CoDyDaTallGuy So you're saying just because Dr. J jumped from the foul line first, that Scottie imitated Dr. J! You dellusional retard! That was clearly an imitation of Jordan's dunk! It was after many years, Scottie tried that Dunk as soon as Michael won the slam dunk contest!

  • @stockmaster1982 I wasn't referring to the style of dunk you fucking jack ass, and I never fucking said that Scottie imitated Dr. J I was saying that Dr. J was the first, and just because Scottie did it some time really close after MJ did it doesn't mean that he copied him...... They way he dunked it had absolutely nothing to do with it, if you think so then your a delusional retard.....

  • @CoDyDaTallGuy Watch it again. It's exactly the same dunk from the start to finish. The only difference is, Scottie didn't exactly jump from the free throw like Jordan, but he started from the other end of the court and he dunked from the free throw line! If you ever played horse, that's exactly an imitation by Scottie.. You are truly an idiot! Do have you any idea how much Scottie resented JOrdan and his stature, that he wanted to do anything possible to look better! U Idiot!

  • @stockmaster1982 No, your really retarded and can't grasp on what im saying. Im saying it doesn't matter one damn bit that Scottie happened to dunk from the foul line a little bit after him and some what identical to how MJ did it.... But the thing is Dr. J did it first and MJ's dunk looked rather similar to DR. J's so pretty much what im saying here is how can Scottie be copying MJ when MJ is pretty much copying Dr. J.... And now your going to comment back saying how wrong I am so lets see it..

  • @CoDyDaTallGuy Rofl~ You are actually right in a sense. I didn't see it that way. So i guess Jordan did copy Dr. J, and Scottie copied Michael.. But whoever it started off with, the very last person who copied it probably copied it from the last person who performed that specific dunk.. So i was right! And Scottie did copy Jordan! I don't have a problem with you saying Jordan copied Dr. J, because there's actually chance, and Jordan did envy Dr. J! But Scottie also envied JOrdan! lol

  • @CoDyDaTallGuy So you're right, but i'm also right in a sense, so i don't see why you're attacking me here? Even if Dr. J was the root, Scottie still copied Jordan, so i'm right as well.. What are you trying to prove here? Jordan is still 100 times better than DR. J, and his modified dunk is a lot better than Dr. J! As opposed to Scottie's failed attempt of trying to make his dunk look better... Rofl~

  • @stockmaster1982 That's all I was trying to prove here..... You finally understood, And I can also see where your coming from, Scottie had a quite similar dunk to Jordan's and he did envy him a lot, so im glad to see that you understand what im saying finally....... :)

  • Michael Jordan aint shit without Scottie Pippen and Scottie Pippen aint shit without Michael Jordan!

  • @jasonwoodard1980 No Michael Jordan is the shit without Pippen! And Pippen ain't shit without Jordan! You got it all wrong my friend!

  • pippin is greatest player of all time...and mj is most overrated player of all time...i am a knicks fan, and have no problem saying how great of a player pippin was

  • @jc1001964 Pippen is most underrated player of all time, Jordan is greatest player of all time, and you are most full of shit of all time.

  • Nice dunk from Pippen but I just can't get the thought out of my head were Jordan would just jump over the whole damn board..Lmao!

  • he can do anything that jordan can do, pippen > jordan

  • @jayjoetube14 except be the GOAT.

  • Pippen gets the nod on distance but as always, Jordan made it look 10x better, which is what the contest is about

  • In typical Pippen fashion, that was ugly as sin.

  • wannabe jordan much

  • @BbausZ stfu pippen was a better defender then Jordan and was a huge contributor to the bulls

  • @knucklez92

Jordan's 1st free throw line dunk was behind the line. The only time and the only one to do it from so far in an NBA dunk contest

  • @XxDrRobot13xX Serge Ibaka's free throw line dunk from last year's dunk contest was perfectly behind the line...

  • I didn't know Pippen was n a dunk contest. That had 2 been the only time he was n the dunk contest

  • lol he couldve done this on a fast break!!!!

  • he did it further behind than jordan. jordan always does is like 2 inches past the free throrow line.

  • pippen and jordon OWN ALL lebron and wade are a joke seriously you can't compare

  • @yaboimclovin I'm longer.

  • Pippen dunked from the free throw line?

  • PIPPEN AINT NO DAMN 6'9

    SMHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • YO! He fuckin flew!

  • sirge ibaka jumped the farthest

  • LOL @ traveled, anyway scottie did the same distance as mj did, see the foot on the line, and scottie was like reaching out for the rim, although he did it successfully

  • copied michael jordan

  • mj's free throw dunk was much smoother than pippen's, and pippen is 6 9, so give mj some credit, he was the one who did the free throw dunk the cleanest, dribbling for the dunk not like ibaka

  • @xlordongx First off scottie is 6ft7 not 6ft9 idiot, second mj traveled on the dunk, and scottie did it further.. So give scottie his credit okay?! Cause mj gets enough credit and ppl like u hate on scottie!

  • @33bullsfan traveled??? lol its a dunk contest not a game.

  • @33bullsfan Scottie is 6ft8

  • @33bullsfan right jordan wouldnt have all of his rings if there was no pippen

  • @33bullsfan cuz scottie pippin is fucking overrated thats why

  • @xxbluejay21 overrated? he is underrated stop being a kiddo here trying to know all about the 1990s

  • @maplestoryisthebestr lol I saw the whole thing. I saw almost every single game from since Jordan's third year. Pippin was only good because he leaned on Jordan. Remember the year Jordan wasn't there? He sucked ass. Stop trying to sound like you know everything. You weren't even alive when Jordan played. And don't try to lie and say "dude i'm 30 years old" because noone that old plays maplestory.

  • @xxbluejay21 dude wtfs maplestory? i have a project about maple leaf and my teacher call it maplestory ...without jordan you think he can win 6 rings?LMAO

  • @maplestoryisthebestr without scottie*

  • @xxbluejay21 You're wrong. I've been a Bulls fan since '85 & MJ is my favorite player, and I watched almost every Bulls game that came on tv until the last championship year. I can't see how you can say that a guy that almost gave you a triple double every night with 18-23 pts, has played defense on all 5 positions, and could do ANYTHING on the court leaned on anyone. Scottie would've won MVP if he didnt throw that chair, & had the Bulls as one of the top seeds the year MJ was gone.

  • @xxbluejay21 you are sick...when jordan left pippen terrorized the leauge in allmost every part on the fuckin floor...shut up...forever please

  • @zlovrosr nope

  • @33bullsfan u can travel in a dunk contest fucktard

  • @redsoxmonkey11 we all know u can travel lol but what do u think will draw a higher score? someone who holds the ball the whole way or someone who makes it seem like a real in game dunk? Ur so dumb u wont even realize what im saying...

  • @33bullsfan Are you about to cry ?

  • @33bullsfan Scottie IS 6FT.9 jordan is 6 ft6 look at video of them standing beside each other.

Im not trying to get into a pissing contest. but scottie is 6'9.

  • @bigsixtyseven ill give scottie 6ft8 but not 6ft9....go listen to when he came out for games they called him 6'7...

  • @bigsixtyseven Pippen is 6'7". Been listed at that height when I use to watch him during his rookie year. They use to try and sneak an extra inch on him. It's not uncommon for the NBA to pull stuff like that. But he's not 6'9".

  • @33bullsfan so i am assuming that the ones who thump up fro u wants u to be embarrsed by the top thumb up on this vid

  • @33bullsfan umm jordan wen behind the line once two

  • @TheEman67 ok im not saying MJ cant do the dunk, im just saying No ONE HAS DRIBBLED AND JUMPED FURTHER THEN PIPPEN!!!

  • @33bullsfan Julius Erving dunked further than both from the free throw. Look at the old footage.

  • @epics7 what are u saying julias had a half foot inside the free throw line....

  • @epics7 no he did not look at the video again and watch it i knew that he was closer bec i think mbenga tried to imitate that dunk and dr j gave him a low score in a dunk contest and the commentators watch the vid of dr j he was closer to the basket

  • @33bullsfan 6ft9 wit shoes dumb ass

  • @33bullsfan is there at travel violation in a slam dunk contest?

  • @33bullsfan michael jordan did not travel

  • @33bullsfan at this time pippen was listed at 6'9.... as the announcer says... he is 6'7 without shoes ... sum players use there barefoot measurements some use with shoes.. it all depends on what effect your going for.. if u want to intimidate u add height.... if u want to slip by the radars unseen u take the low one...

  • @hexecutioner

No he isn't. He's 6'7" with shoes, and about 6'5" 1/2 without shoes.

  • @33bullsfan Yeah you understand basketball pippen was just as good to me people dont give him no credit they dick ride jordan like he won all those rings by him self basketball is a team sport shit Bill Russell got 11 ring almost twice as much as MJ and back then basketball was hard you had to knock a person out for the ref to call foul but people dont talk about Russell basketball changes there will alway be a better player as time pass I think kobe is better

  • @nyc23bklyn

"they dick ride jordan like he won all those rings by himself"

People don't "dick ride" MJ, they're just intelligent enough to realize that MJ was the UNDISPUTED LEADER of those teams and ALL of the evidence & facts PROVE it.

    "back then basketball was hard"

Nuff respect to Bill Russell, but in his era they only had to win 2 Rds to win a title, plus 2 of their titles came against teams with losing records, something that is inconceivable in MJ's era & this one.

  • @nyc23bklyn

"there will alway be a better player as time pass"

Apparently the NBA doesn't share your sentiment because if they did, they wouldn't have ADMITTED to changing their rules in order to assists players TODAY in putting up #s like their predecessors, to which is EXACTLY what has happened.

So genius, what league puts in rules to FAVOR guys that are supposed to be BETTER than their predecessors?

    "I think kobe is better"

Then where's the consistently better on-court results to PROVE it?

  • @33bullsfan When did MJ ever travel on a freethrow dunk?

  • i know this is good but ibakas was just a little more behind but just a little more but these two dunks people dont even talk about it.

  • a REAL free throw line dunk...

  • again scottie is in the shadow of michael jordan

  • WTF. First time I see it. I never even know that Scottie has participated and the slam dunk contest.

Scottie was never good as MJ, but season 93-94 has shown that he can play well without MJ.

  • 3rd person to do it in a dunk contest, after Dr.J and MJ, before Brent Barry and Serge Ibaka.

  • that is very hard dunk to do right , not easy at all.

  • mj is better, especially when u say that lebron is better, scottie. u dont say that lebron is better than the greatest of all time, especially when the greatest of all time is on your team and pretty much gave u 6 rings

  • @bradypatsomg12 hey hey now lol....pippen wasnt no slouch...he was the one who did all the dirty work and things MJ couldnt do... ppl fail to realize that....he earn those rings just as much as MJ did....remember MJ didnt win no championships until him and pippen were teammates

  • @bradypatsomg12 He said maybe better, He also cleared it up and said MJ is the greatest, so get off the guy about that stuff, o yea and he helped mj a lot too so relax with all of that!

  • Stupid PPL Scottie pippen haters this shit is a 10!!!!! Not a 9!!!!! Scottie was awesome fuck mj

  • Yea Scottie He did it ... 10!

  • Pippen for president lol I miss watching him and jordan damn them where the days

  • i'm not impressed - if he could do it with a watermelon then maybe...

  • thats not as good as jordans was cuz jordan had more hang time and was closer to the net when he dunked and was higher

  • @LiLMonsta110 jordan jumped with his front foot over the line scottie's foot was behind the line

  • he got the distance but he wasn't very high in the air like Earving or Jordan

  • that wuz further den micheal jordan

  • 10 people can't touch the net.

  • @matu1181 make that 13 who doesn't know how to get their asses off the lazy boys while eating burgers.

  • @matu1181 is anyone else sick of people that are commenting on the dislike bar. how can people like the easiest jokes every. it is like laughing at a nut shot or fart in a movie

  • @yojoeflow

This is my first and last dislike joke. And yet, 45 people seemed to find it funny. I am glad to amuse people. :)

  • @XuShoe Stop trolling dude.

  • @XuShoe "You clearly have narcissism" is NOT A SENTENCE. You don't get to talk anymore. Troll elsewhere.

  • @XuShoe Nah. You're trolling. I know it when I see it. I'm not sure where you get this "angry" bullshit from. I guess your idiocy is synonymous with your dishonesty. Don't worry about me "bashing" someone. This is the INTERNET.

    Moron.

  • @XuShoe I don't have to dream. UIC (where I redshirted) isn't that far from Hoops in the Loop. Don't think that those guys only played ball for the Bulls. Chicago is a vast city. That makes it a hotbed for ballplayers too.

But your trolling is very entertaining.

  • @XuShoe With a long-armed, 6'5 1/2" frame, having played hs, collegiate & pro-am ball, having actually had the pleasure of hooping with Mike & Scottie on different occasions, what do you THINK?

  • it's a shame that vince carters boring dunks are in the top 10 of all time and pippens are not even mentioned or known by the fans.

  • i never even knew he was in a slam dunk contest even tho i seen alot of them

  • Worrd I beva saw this

  • WOW , Ive never seen this ! Its wierd that they never show this

  • @vargas218 YOU RIGHT NOT ONLY DID I NOT SEE IT, IVE NEVER HEARD ABOUT IT

  • @vika01 lol, well this is kinda late, but i was referring to the james white dunk. not this dunk. I almost thought I was stupid for a second

  • Two words - Vince Carter

  • thats even better than jordan's. i never notice pippen had did a free throw dunk n it is better n farther than jordan;s one

  • Great dunk, but the Comp is about selling it, style and new stuff, so sorry Pips, you rock, great dunk but not many care

    but i do

  • Dumb ass people were throwin up 9's? HOW THE FUCK DO YOU DO BETTER THAN THAT^ 0.0

  • Farther back than Jordan and he dribbled wtffffffffffffff

  • @xiAMGeno no
