I run 305/50R20s on my truck with the 5.4 and I get to second gear faster than that with abs even lol almost seems like you need to have that shit tuned to match what you got in it

i got a 02 f150 idectcial to this truck but 4.6

and im confused to wheather i got posi i did a brake stand the other day and only one tire spun but if im muddin or soemthing both tires will throw mud..

if only one spins then its not posi

if 2 spin sometimes its limited slip

if 2spin all the time its posi

and if you burnout and both tires marks are the same length then its posi but if it looks like the other kicked in then its limited slip

that is common, you have limited slip, when you are mudding there is less resistance so both tires will spin.

@4x44runner its called limited slip. in the 9.75 inch diff (like his) they worked quite well from factory.ive assembled one for my f150 and the only way for me to compress the clutches and wear plates was to use my porta power. its tight. never had one tire spin.

the throttle body spacer is worthless on teh modular ford engines... put long headers on it and 24# innjectors, a 75mm throttle body, electric fans, a dyno tune and underdrive pulleys...

Headers. No question. Big gains high rpm. Stays in gear longer before shifting, i.e. get higher rpm, get higher speeds for each gear. The engine could breathe better because it could get the exhaust out faster and more efficiently. Second would be the 80mm throttle body. No offense, but those cold air kits aren't worth much if the throttle body at the plenum is stock and small. .....You can get the biggest beer in the world, but if you can't open your throat, you can't slam it.

dude ur F-150 is badass. how much did u pay 4 those ford racing headers? im planning on putting a set on 2000 F-150 5.4 xlt 4x4 7700. i wish i had a FX4 package on my truck like urs. i have a cai on my truck and put a 1 inch airaid throttle body spacer on and it did absolutely nothing except make that annoying whistle, that came off pretty quick. what make is ur throttle body spacer? i was thinking about trying another make? perhaps jet who have a non whistling throttle body spacer.

391 HP? You mean 291 - and at the crank? I have a 2000 F150 with long tubes, high flow cats, chambered muffler 3" in 2.5" out, underdrive pullies, CAI, AND a dyno tune (where i picked up 20 RWHP and 50 RWTQ) which put me at 300-320 at the crank. There is no way you have 391 HP, maybe with forced induction or n2o with the mods stated.
