Too Cute, like the last image of you lounging! What a sweet lady! We bought one of these and was wondering what to expect! Thanks!! P.S. 2 people are sleeping on the floor lol
@LisaMcIntosh007 Thanks for the kind words. I thought I should show my face to authenticate the review, also to show the mattress with a weight on it. Hope you'll enjoy your mattress.
Thank you for posting this. I've been considering buying this from Walmart but have been torn. I thought I'd check youtube to see if anyone did any reviews on it. Your review was very helpful.
I wish I got the 12". When I took mines out the box I freaked out because it was so thin and I thought they gave me a mat. Mines didn't immediately expand.
@heartx3jess Do you plan to use the topper on top of a mattress or use it as a mattress by itself? I've read a case in which a person used the topper alone on the floor (temporary arrangement) and was comfortable. I hesitate to express an opinion on this, because people prefences are so varied. If you like a firm bed, have a firm foundation, buy a firm topper (rated 6 or 7) may be it'll work. Toppers are thin, a soft one may lose support real quick, and you'll waste your money. Good luck.
@heartx3jess I thought some more about your question. May be you'd be better off buying a 6" mattress if you need a mattress. The price is not much more. A topper is not intended as mattress alone. May be you can check ebay for a good deal.
Purchased the 12" a week ago. Great mattress. Soft and firm. Hard to explain. If you kneel or sit on it you'll sink in quite a bit. However, if you lay on it, your weight is distributed evenly. The foam will contour itself around your body. Great buy for the price. The 12" was $400. Had it shipped to Walmart fir free.
Did you try this bed right after you bought it? I got my yesterday and tried it and am in terrible back pain now. Not sure if It is really like this or if I should give it some days to "get soft". Do you think time helps it get soft?
@dupsybabe I think the most important factor determining hard or soft is the density of the foam. Ratings between 4 and 6 are probably comfortable for most people. Some retailers provide ratings, but the numbers are not always reliable. Body temperature and weight also determine the comfort level (heavier people sink more into the foam). It sounds like your mattress may be too hard for you, I don't know if it will get softer or not. If not, you might try adding a topper. Hope this helps.
@sgmg09 The support is very great, firm but very comfortable, sounds contradictory, but true, at least for me. No motion transfer, you don't feel the other person's movements. About the smell, yes, pretty bad chemical smell. I left it in the garage with ventilation for about 3 weeks before bringing it in, then it was in a spare bedroom with lots of ventilation. I suppose how long it takes for the smell to dissipate depends on the amount of ventilation. Hope this helps.
A store named "mrfoam" on ebay is also a good place to shop for memory foam mattresses. I found them to be courteous, prompt reply to your questions, the merchandises reasonably priced.
@scarlynn123 Please keep us posted of your experience. An update on mine: I discovered that my mattress feels more comfortable and softer after I removed my thick quilted mattress pad. I learned that the memory foam reacts to body weight and heat to conform to the contour of the body.
@fitzychevy I've had it for 2 weeks, and I absolutely love it. It has very firm support, but cushiony on top to be comfortable, very good for my bad back. Some reviewers think it is too firm, but that can be remedied by adding a foam topper. Hope this helps in your decision making.

I bought one of these in a king size and after 12 hours it is still under 7 inches thick... will it ever get to 8 inches?
dmbfan07cb 7 months ago
@dmbfan07cb Probably, it rises more slowly during the last phase.

I am going to buy the 4 inch topper for my dorm bed. Do you think it will provide enough support?
