i wanna know the physics of how this happens. this happened to chris barnes too, and i figured with throwing at least a 14lb ball, at a speed exceeding 12mph, in between 1-3, with at least 200 rpm, there'd be no way to get this. kinda wonder if it's something different with the pins that cause this....or maybe something else, just speculating here.

sounded like a 10lb ball. with that angle, I would never leave the 5 with it. 7-10 many times but never the 5 especially with that angle coming into the pocket.
If that happens a lot, it's called moving right. You're hitting the pocket too light. Move right and let the ball go at it straight, and then come up to the pocket. The ball will probably hit it harder and you'll increase the amount of strikes you get. Simple physics.

I never seen anyone make the 5 7 10 split. I rarely see people leave that split. Has anyone ever made the 5 7 10 split before?
