@LibertyTreeGal There really is an enormous amount of science that is in direct agreement with what is spoken of in the scriptures... it is only people misconceptions of it all. religion, God, Science, Facts, Fiction... that hide the truth... Study to show yourself approved is not just about 'studying' the scriptures... it's also everything else in this world too... the more you do that the more truth you see...

@norvman Oh I know, I am a chemist -- the periodic chart, more than anything, showed me God. It was all there, such perfection and complexity and simplicity all rolled up into one. Then I took Quantum physics and it was even clearer, I knew there was a God, I just had no clue who He was for another ten years. :) It would still be cool if Adam and Jamie and Rico tried to take down the wallks of Jericho !!! Of course, they would need the ark and some Levites.

@LibertyTreeGal I'm a big believer in the idea that there are two reasons that any intelligent person calls something a miracle... #1 they just have never seen what they just saw before... Bring Paul into the 20th Century and he would see alot of miracles... stuff that to us is common knowledge... like Automobiles for instance... but not for him...

#2... Some kind of chance occurance, a event that can only happen once in a great while... like a Total Solar Eclipse for instance...

@norvman Well, when my son's severe congenital hip dysplasia healed overnight, bones, tendons, muscles, etc... all shifting and straightening -- There was sure no science that could explain that. Even his pediatrician wept. I have seen so many miracles, I could not count them. To me, there is a big difference between a car, and having a body transform in front of your eyes. :)

@LibertyTreeGal Well again... Healing of this sort is something than CAN be done... it's just that our science is yet to figure out how to do it... Remember this ... the Hebrew word for Egyptian is 'Mysterians', (where the word Mystery comes from) Remember that when Moses turned his rod into a snake... the Egyptian Priest (scientist?) didn't think anything of it and did the same... Can we do that today? So just look at all the stuff we don't understand that we once did...

@LibertyTreeGal you are correct ... the English word Mysterious and Mystery comes from the same root word(s)... We use Gun powder and fire arms today that many in the ancient world would consider magical or miraculous now Gun powder and guns don't kill people... people kill people... Magic... that is... knowledge of things we have yet to understand... is neither good nor evil... we make it so by it's use... Thus... Faith without works is dead...

@LibertyTreeGal Also most Doctors today are simply too specialized... to commericalized to be taught to do their jobs properly... their is so much medical science that never gets into the hands of Practicing Doctors... this is by design in a "money" driven system... don't cure those guys! we're not done making money off of them yet!...

It's not a Right way to do things... Certainly not what is taught in torah...

Not all gener exist in Jesus' day. You sound like a chain smoker who ask "Where in the bible did God condemned smoking?" You know it's wrong in spite the evidence in 3:03.

You can disagree and offer up worship your way as did Cain, whose offer was rejected by the Lord.
