  • I don't if I consider Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale as a Summer beer though I enjoy drinking it in the summer, I consider it more as a year round beer. I'm not quit sure what you mean by more alcohol ether this one has 6.2% and Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale is 5.6%. I agree I like Stouts in the winter too. Cheers

  • Why is a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale considered a "summer" beer when it has more alcohol in it? And, the ale you are drinking is a winter beer with less alcohol? Also, most Stout beers have less alcohol than regular 5% alcohol per volume beer. But, to me, Stout beer makes a better "winter" beer because of the roasted barley and hops. Just my opinion.
