there are simple ways to get the portal gun in half life 2... 1. is that you gather all the half life 2 maps and get all the materials and models to correct the undentified object in the map and go in console and type sv_cheats 1 an type impulse 101 to get portal gun and other weapons... 2. you just buy half life2 and find the portal gun mod for it and follow tutorial... thats all i can think of :p hope this helped..

I have a theory. remember how there's always three weapons in each slot? like the pistol, revolver, and bowgun are all in the same one. but the misc weapons have ever only had two: the gravity gun and crowbar. And in half life 2 episode 2 you see video from the borealis, a ship with crates from aperture science in it. It's been announced that in episode 3 you will go to that ship and my guess is you will get the portal gun. It's gonna be for the missing spot in the misc weapons :D

Stating the name of the sciene team and entering things that relate to them is as far as they will go. So it's very unlikely. Portal only has Half Life 2 references. The worlds aren't ever going to meet. Sadly...... :(

Wrong. This isn't even halflife 2. It's portal with half life maps. so it is possible, just put in halflife 1 maps and the story will run as normal. As long as you add in the other stuff that makes the level run. It's quite easy. If the game has maps you can have a portal gun in it. sort of.
