aight first off all you duches who diss wii for its graphics are total newbs cause you dont play a console for graphics... you play it cause you enjoy it.... wii happens to be the best selling console out there it beats ps3 and 360 combined! sure its games might not have the best graphics or the best effects or anything but the games are fun and thats what really matters when it comes to gaming

Good time, bit late now the comp is over, but a tip: If u hit the goomba's with a shell, they yeild a mushroom for u to use. My guess is that, thats how those nuts who got over 1:40:00 did it.. I got almost the same time as you, u beat me by just a bit, Um think i got 1:50:678.I used the bullet bike and baby Luigi too, good combo. Wonder what the next comp will be? I

you should try a heavy character and take the inside on turns even if theres a chain chomp they can be avoided. it should help trust me my worst time is faster than your best. not trying to bag

I managed to get a 1:39:834 using Funky Kong in the Torpedo. The only "mistakes" I made were going round the Chain Chomps in fear of hitting them and having to restart.

Yeah its called tournaments in the North American version... No idea why, they changed the names of several tracks and vehicles as well. You did exceptionally well, your definitely one of the best Mario Kart Wii players I've seen on youtube.

Yeah, it's the "Tournament" feature (that's what it's called on the American version I think.) Every so often they'll release a competition and people around the world race for the best time.

i myself also am trying to figure a good idea for this track the begging of it i cannot figure out but im start to also save your mushrooms for the grass near the ramp.

It's not hard to figure out what's the best strategy for this competition, use funky kong and torpedo, and get 3 mushrooms, and play like the guy who has the time trial world record..

If you are lucky, no storms, pow's, blue shells or red shells are gonna hit you..

You can probably get below 1:30 with that strategy.. You need to be very skilled ofc. That's why there are only japanese in top 10 ^^

You're quite good, if you try to stay around 8th place before hitting the first item box you might get a gold shroom that you can use to shortcut the sand part. Shooting goomba's with shells can help your time too.
