You were such a good looking guy this must have helped you develop a similar good female appearance. From outside appearances your efforts have been successful. Nothing ventured nothing gained. If it doesn't work out, as it doesn't for some, your appearance and visible personality look like you could transition back fairly easily. Personally I'm quite satisfied with me as I was born but I have great empathy for anyone who was born in the wrong physical body.
