  • wait wht is it 4 ?....................

  • To - @4jess5

    It's for me!

  • when will you have it finished and some running vids up i really want to c this thing go

  • To - @nitroman17958

I am having the builder install some updates to the carbs, and a Steel flywheel which is a new option for the 609. Will have her back in a week or 2.

  • i wanna know how much do you want for your bearfoot monster truck

  • To - @playboysdodge

    Not for sale.

    But thanks.

  • i love the truck! keep up the great work..

  • PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the love of god finish this thing! I have been watching and showing friends and family your videos for almost a year now and I gotta say, I cant take it anymore! I / we all need to see this amazing machine run and rip. I know something like this can not be rushed but your killing me lol!

  • @45caliberluv 1 year... Ive watched this for like 3 years and I can say its no where near done. I would say 2 more years as he has started another project aw we speak a 1/8th scale something scratch build.

  • To - @LiveFreeOrRIP

That was project therapy during the 1/4 scale. I feel better now.

  • that thing will be sik when its compedlet

  • I forgot about these videos. Glad so see its still going. Ill keep watching.

  • Yea but then id have to do it for everyone....

  • To - @kylet8020

    Your choice. :-)

  • I've been waitin on this thing to run forever everytime I get on youtube I check and make sureuve not put up a new video

  • To - @kylet8020

If you subscribe, Youtube will let you know. :-)

  • Time and weight.

  • I meant less strain as in having to turn AND push two large tires it would have 4 tires pulling it meaning it would take less time to pick up speed to relieve strain on the drive train. But I understand what you mean about time

  • Well i hope u get out there and run it i can't wait to see it

  • Soo ready to see this beast moving under its own power. Why don't you have it 4-wheel drive? Seems like it would be less strain on the motor and easier to get it movin. Granted, it would also have took much longer to do..

  • To - @cj15941

What if??, this gearing does not work good. I'd have to re-make 2 axles rather than one. This axle took over 100 hours to design/fabricate. A drive/steering axle will take even longer. Powering 2 drive shafts will create More strain on the engine, and the added weight will not help either.

  • U should really do a vid this week we all are waiting to se this monster drive and good work!!

  • To - @s514skater

Have to wait for the weekend to drive it, it's dark when I get off of work.

  • will you be able to drive it in the next video?

  • To - @killnet14

The engine is ready to be fired up, just need to add the liquids. And need a weekend with dry weather.

  • will it ever run or are you just gonna keep building it

  • To - @thecompensator

Have you seen the earlier videos of it running?

  • When is the next vid I'm dying to see the new carbs i my self may build a monster truck and steal ur idea ;) Lol

  • To - @gamyhp

New carbs looks the same. May do a video this week if the weather looks bad for the weekend.

  • When's the next video?!?!?!?!

  • To - @diabloman97

May do this week if the weather looks bad for the weekend.

  • I think you are doing a good job keep us updated and get to work on it I wanna see it run a track!

  • who made your engine and how much was it im trying to sstart a project like this

  • To - @MrJakesmiles

    Gary Conley at ConleyPrecision. com.

  • @rcWizzard do we have a new video yet? hope so it's killing me lol

  • To - @018e4

May do this week if the weather looks bad for the weekend.

  • @rcWizzard i hear ya its been kinda of crudy huh? that sucks i bet your intching to drive it just as bad as we want to see it drive

  • You've put a lot of money and time into building this! Great work

  • can u plz put an update video so we can see what has been done to the truck doesnt have to be a running video

  • waiting patiently...

  • I just saw Dennis bash his 30th truck around Atlanta, it was a blast! I took some nice high res pictures of the body and chassis. If you want the pictures send me a message and I will be happy to pass them along for your reference. During the show all I was thinking about was your build. I hope to follow in your footsteps some day with a less ambitious build. What's the latest news?

  • We need a running video cant wait any longer!!

  • Did u get a vid???

  • To - @TheFolsomprizon

No, the weather was cold and miserable, with snow and ice on the ground.

  • idk why everybody's getting excited when he finishes the truck he just gonna baby it around. not like hes gonna jump it or anything

  • To - @falgianibrandon

    Dude, go cut some wood!!

    Stay Tuned.... !!

  • @rcWizzard as much time as you put into this little truck you could have built a real 1950 chevy panel truck with a lift kit etc

  • @falgianibrandon "kit"

  • To - @falgianibrandon

Which do you think is more unique?

  • @rcWizzard which one will get you laid lol

  • @falgianibrandon he has always said he wanted it to do jumps and what not

  • @rcwizzard- how long did it take to fabricate those front and rear axle housing. And does the center piece hold oil.

  • To - @omahagee

The rear axle was over 100 hours, has a HPI Diff with custom machined bevel gears. It does have seals to hold lubrication. Front axle is a simple design that is not driven, maybe 20 hours.

  • how much longer till you get it done

  • To - @franklin5458

It's best not to answer this question.

  • finish the truck already!

  • To - @53soccerlover

    Patience grasshopper!

  • @rcWizzard when will it be ready to run?

  • To - @53soccerlover

It's read to run Now. Finally have it back together. Just need to put in the liquids when the weather is good and can take outside to fire it up. Have sleet/freezing rain this Sat morning. Hope Sunday will be sunny. Stay tuned .....

  • @rcwizzard- how where u able to get chassis blue prints for your gravedigger. Would it be possible to get other truck chassis blue prints?

  • To - @omahagee

I used a 1/25th scale model as a template/blue print. Check out part FAQ, and the Babies part A thru B.

  • those 1/10? scale trucks look awesome.love to see a vid on those.

  • Hey man love what you do keep up the nice work

  • please make a new video soon please!!!!!!!

  • When's the next vid gonna be up?

  • So it keeps the rpms low to get the power to the ground?

  • Has Dennis seen this yet? ..lol... As always good work! ... Waiting on the next vid...

  • To - @newhavenmotorsports

Yes, I have his autograph on the body.

  • @rcWizzard ok when is the next vid bud i need a new video i love the truck the build the videos all of it

  • To - @018e4

    Hope to this weekend.

  • This is one of the baddest home-built RC's ever!! We have a monster truck class at my RC track (mostly t-maxx's, revo's & savage's). I'd love to line up with this rig. I bet half the drivers would walk off the stand.

  • What is the Reason for the steel flywheel?

  • To - @TheFolsomprizon

The engine will not rev up so fast.

  • what do you need before you can release a new video

  • To - @caleblakes

I'd like to run it again in the next video. Need to finish up the electrics. And need to rebuild the shocks, with fresh oil. Tomorrow I'm going to ask Mr Conley if the steel flywheels are ready. I'd like to change that while the engine is dry.

  • if this thing turns out as planned, you should buy some machines and mass produce them. i think that how Mr. Conley started.

  • Are we getting a vid this weekend?????

  • To - @TheFolsomprizon

No, to many things to hook up. I may wait until the engine builder has the steel flywheel done, while the engine is still dry.

  • Any word from Mr. Conley about the transmission with revers in it or is it still on the drawing board... Oh and to respond to a comment you replied to awhile back the 1/8 scale chassi i'm building was going to be made of T-6 aluminum but the chassi was scraped due to miss measurements so now it will be another wooden chassi concept but with some sheet metal plate reinforcement.... The axels will be basic clod axels with 16 to 1 gear reduction adapters for the kong tires I plan on running...

  • To - @CharlesD72681

I guess you could say the trans is on the back burner, where the current run of engines are on the Front burner. I believe he has the steel flywheel ready for testing.

  • @rcWizzard Nice man, how's the rig for the throttle control coming?

  • To - @CharlesD72681

Good. Have the second servo mounted and connected to the carbs. Used a cable to the pivot point, then a rod to the carbs. Works good.

    Thanks.

  • do u know when this will be done

  • To - @rrmilling

    No.

  • This seems like such a massive project with a lot of time and money involved as well as the skills to do it, hope it works out for ya in the end.

  • Two things how much was the engine and total cost

  • To - @MrGiggs124

    Check out part FAQ .

  • looks good cant wait for it to be done dod you have an idea when your next video well be?

  • To - @lambojoey

Hopefully the next week or 2.

  • did you go to the 2012 monster jam with grave digger at blue cross arena?

  • To - @moparmusclezxc1

    No, it's still in pieces.

  • @rcWizzardno, not ur truck you

  • To - @moparmusclezxc1

No, I did not go there.

  • how much did it cost

  • To - @Bobbym8895

    Check out part FAQ .

  • When r u going to actually drive it?!?

  • To - @thestatefan33

Part 22 was first test run. Hope to have it back together again by next weekend.

  • They make an inline reverser for servos

  • To - @TheFolsomprizon

    Thanks.

I can flip the servo in its mount and that will take care it.

  • woud love to have one grave digger is my favorite =) (now do a 1/2 or a 1/1)(just kidding)

  • man this build is genius! Cant wait to see it run! Got something special planned for the "running" video?

  • To - @monstertruckguy

Yeah, a video if it running!! :-)

  • is it driveble yet if not when do you think its gonna be drivible ?

  • To - @TheRedhawk27

If not this weekend then the next.

  • @rcWizzard Could we expect a video this weekend?

  • To - @JONNYGEEKMANG

Was planning on it, but I fried the throttle servo last night, testing dual servo's 1 for throttle 1 for brake. Thought switching the red/black wires would make it go the opposite way, Not! Wires smoked and melted together, and fried the board inside so a 310 in/oz servo is dead. Hope to next weekend.

  • @rcWizzard Sorry to hear that. Well your so close its driving me nuts I've been checking your videos since i was like 11 haha. Well I wish you luck on getting everything together. I also hope you got/get the issue fixed with it seeming a little under powered.

  • To - @JONNYGEEKMANG

    Thanks.

  • im no expert but i love monster trucks and grave digger is my favorite, isnt the exhaust supposed to lean towards the back of the truck?

  • To - @nitrojunkie1029

If they were pointed up yes, but bending 1/2 inch stainless steel is not easy. I wanted to keep the exhaust away from the brakes.

  • where did you get the engine

  • To - @crownviclvr

    Go to ConleyPrecision. com

Check out part FAQ for more info.

  • @rcWizzard I hope that when this build is done, I see your truck featured on Monster Jam for a 10 min crush session or something because this thing is going to be amazing! And by the way, does Dennis Anderson know your building this beast?

  • I've seen every video you've posted, and i swear ima pop a bottle of some expensive shit when you get her up and running

  • Grave Digger is good, and I respect your opinion but how about a Maximum Destruction truck?

  • To - @QMRacer94

What about a Maximum Destruction truck??

  • @rcWizzard How about you make a Maximum Destruction truck?

  • @QMRacer94 There wasn't a Maximum Destruction or Goldberg truck when this project was started

  • This Truck is absolutely AMAZING!! What tenacity you show to keep building this with all the obstacles you have overcome. I am an avid R.C. enthusiast. I have been following this build since the beginning. I see that you ARE quite the expert with this hobby. I am an Machinist by trade, I have a love for building these types of things. If you have any Engineering and or Machining Questions, send me an email. I would to lend some advice if possible.

    Cole.

  • Ahh I want to see this thang run

  • when you finally get this beautiful truck finished... whatever you do with it.... DO NOT LET DENNIS DRIVE IT!!!!!!! lol

  • 22C, lol. respectfully you slaigh me. I remember the first few videos. Who'da thought we'd be here labeling them as such this much time later. What is it 2 years now ? Better man then me, I'da wrecked it by now. Keep up the good video work. Maybe I will put some of them all on a single dvd after I edit them lol.

Have you spoke to Dennis yet about what you are doing ?

  • To - @rebelbrowser

Oh yes, Dennis has seen it. He autographed it at one of the NoLimitRc. com races in his front yard. He also gave me my name the Wizzard.

His welder, Dan Bright, does my aluminum and stainless steel welding.

  • Finish soon please? With a cherry on top!? I want to see that bad boy kickass!

  • To - @techmike357

Send me a PM with your question.

    Or, reply here.

  • i swear every time i hear "to be continued" i die a little inside because i don't want the videos to stop!

  • me and my dad are rebuilding a 79 ford 351m big block and seein how these engines are made i cant believe they have everything to the tee. like the rocker arms and valves and even the little cam love what ur doin man more vids thumbs up!!

  • ha u posted this on my bday

  • To - @x7Chaosbullet

    Happy B-day dude!

  • You know what would be a great Christmas present... A new video! Love the truck! Keep up the good work!

  • To - @mustangsrock2

Just got the engine back yesterday, 12/22, a LOT of stuff to do.

    Thanks man!

  • dont you wish you were 1/3 scale so you could drive it? kinda makes you wish you made it full scale, huh?

  • To - @playingwithfirehurts

    Nope.

  • Make a mini flowmaster setup for your exhaust out the back.

  • To - @tjanusz3

I'm happy with the new exhaust.

  • when is the next video coming out?

  • To - @aaronkillall

Just got my 609 back from the Builder a few minutes ago.

    Stay Tuned .....

  • I have watched all your videos. And I think this is going to be one bad ass truck when your done. Keep up the good work. And do you think you'll do a king sling replica?

  • To - @mankotaboy

    Thanks!

    Yes.

  • jjjeeeeeeezzzzzzz you are taking your time on this project on this jesssssuuuusssss come on man i do want to the the finished thing before i am dead haha

  • To - @samoboiinnit

I lost the instructions, give me a break!!

  • oh my god. i laughed my ass off when u said what have you built from scratch lately mo-fo. it just dont fit your character. still funny. lol

  • To - @ghettoc0

    I figured it was justified.

  • @rcWizzard Ya can't wait to see it done my names will I've been there for 6 months now and love working around Rc cars so can't wait to see it done btw I saw you liked mr2s If you have post a vid of id love to see it

  • Awesome truck, I never realised that Conley has been making V8 replicas as long as he has. Pretty cool. Have fun.

  • To be continued...the worst 3 words I've ever heard in my life. Lol

  • @rcWizzard i don't understand what happen with the engine setup (carburetors)

  • To - @ArtusMotor

The engine was stalling out, so he made improvements to the carbs.

  • 22 parts and no offroading? Hurry up lazyass

  • To - @Mr420Nick

And what have You scratch built lately, Mo-fo??

  • Please finish this before the coming economic collapse! We've all been waiting for a very long time & there will be more shit to worry about than this project

  • I have to ask after seeing this. Have you made mods to the conley other then exhaust. and with the price each one of these motors you couldn't have conley make the exhaust for you.

  • To - @ibbong420

The exhaust is my only mod. I had to design/fabricate the new pipes while the engine was mounted in the chassis. Mr Conley could not have done that. He did supply the flanges at no charge, :-)

  • Don't rush. It will be better quality if you take your time and it will be worth more if you decide to sell it.

  • @rcWizzard love your truck i have been watching since you started so can you hurry up so we all can see the finised one and you should water proof your electronics

  • You know what the best part About it taking so long is that we just didnt see the last couple vids of it running....we got to see it built from the ground up. And that is what makes it interesting to me. Thanks again rcwiz!

  • i cant wait for,"to be continued" part be never said again.aka, finished product. This is EPICALLY AWESOME!!!!

  • in hurry to see the final version

  • To - @QuebecoisSti

No, I can wait, I'm a patient guy.

  • @rcWizzard

Patient I am to, but Jezzzz you killing us with how long it taking.

Put up a donation deal on Paypal see how many would donate to see you get it done.

  • To - @blackbox34

It's not a question of money, it a matter of TIME!

  • I was just wondering if you thought about making 4x4, thinking how smart you are and your ablitily, don't you think you can make your own u joints and us them at the knuckes? you can make your own caps and then put needle bearing in them....

That motor really makes the truck. my sons and I are really enjoying your project

  • keep up the fantastic work man ! this truly is the only model in the world like it and i hope you don't ever get discouraged and stop working on it. I as well as many more want to see it completed no mater how many years it takes :^) and as you know there are always differences of opinion in how you build it but stick to your guns and keep up the good work :^)

  • The welds don't look bad, I've seen alot worse, make sure you have the correct wire speed for the metal thickness. It should sound like sizzling bacon when your welding if your wire speed is correct. The exhaust looks fantastic, I can't wait to hear what they sound like when you get you connely back.

  • Awesome. Keep up the great work.

  • Thanks for posting a new video. I liked the part where ur like. here is a couch, lamp. oooohhh. lol

  • Fuck man do you remember how long you have been building this! i was watching these videos like 2 years ago!

  • Iv been watching all the videos over the years. Doing great! Cant wait to see it run

  • Coming along nicely, I just put all my projects on hold to update my Pro Audio for my Dj and Sound business I have a 1/8 scale monster in the works that will run the jumbo kong tires and clod axels....

  • how long do you builld it????

i'm withing to the finel report and the test drive

    your's from israel

    RC Truker

  • To - @ctc12005

    About 5 years so far.

  • i heard you brought the 1/4 grave digger to hobby hangar in chantilly va i work there and one of my co workers dave told me you brought it there i mean i love your truck keep up the good work we all love it
