  • There is no link but is anyone who can explain me why Jane and Mrs fairfax have such a weird expression on their face when Adele sings a french song, and then they say "it's so french"...?? I'm french and i don't understand what she mean x) do english and amercan people think that french people have bad music? xD

  • @ucaya2 i believe there's a stereotype that the french, among being pretentious, are all things self-indulgent. so a lilting song where she dances is seen as a frivolous and self-centered thing to do. i don't think it's in a bad way though. more like they see the french like decadent pastries. a gourmet cupcake with miles of frosting~ there's a reason why it's considered rich and romantic to go to paris. it feels like everything would be filmed in a soft light with music

  • @knightsintodreams Oh well I do understand, thank you for your answer then! :D I think i will try not to dance and sing when I'll go to England ;D By the way Jane Eyre is one of the best movies I've ever seen (:

  • @ucaya2 mine as well!! i love fassbender <3

  • I'm glad they cut this scene...it does not belong in this movie, and not just because it doesn't appear in the book. Even if this was only planned as a dream sequence -- at least I hope that's what it was intended to be! -- putting Bertha's voice into Adele's mouth is just not right. Sick, even. Seriously...what were they thinking to even WRITE such a scene, let alone film it???

  • I would be freaked out too.

  • Holy Mackerel! Adele is possessed!

  • @hacsince91 I highly encourage you to read the whole thing! :) I love the movie, but the book is even better. There are just something things that work in a book, but won't in a film. I never wanted to put the book down, I read it in less than a week! lol.

  • oh my god. it's so dark in my room right now x.x

  • @natida9 ahah! *runs over and shields your eyes from the screen, then realizes that i need to actually just give you earplugs, then realize this whole comment is just absurd*

  • I haven't seen any JE films yet, but I've recently finished reading it. I've always thought Adele was a bubbly, little six year old.

  • @LindsayHallin73 This is not anything from the book, and I don't know exactly what it's supposed to mean. I think this was probably supposed to be a dream that Jane was having, since in the book she has a few strange dreams, but none like this.

  • @Drea538 Oh really? Still haven't finished it myself :( but thanks for sharing/interesting to know it wasnt in the book.

  • Bits of this movie were extremely creepy, and this scene is no exception...but I am glad they didn't put it in because it's about quality, not quantity. :)

  • WTF???? I laughed so hard at this...Jane's expression as she moves away from Adele is priceless xD

Does anyone know where this would have fit in the movie?

  • @GlitterAndMetal I think it must have fit during or in place that deleted scene when birtha rips Jane's veil,Jane see a woman wearing her bridal dress and she ask if it is Adele. Also Jane said through the movie she kept hearing noises and a woman screaming during the night....so Jane's bad dream?

  • @LauryKOS Hmm considering this scene as a nightmare makes sense because it is so strange. Thanks.

  • !!!!????.......

  • Um.. lol? LOL. :$

  • . . . o.O Wait. What? O.o . . . .

  • Victorian-era Japanese Horror.

  • OMG WTF that was creepy!

  • @DimSimToughBitch aahaha yes yes it is xD

  • What?! I haven't read the book so, I don't know if this is just something I don't know about. Scary.

  • BAHAHAHA! XD WHAT WAS THAT?!

  • This scene was so random i kinda wanted to laugh but then I was too freaked out ...

  • Um, I think adele was possessed. That is some freaky ass shit.

  • uh....

  • i love jane eyre but...WTF!?

  • Yea that was like not right. I haven't read the book, but want to. I mean the girl was so sweet in the movie. Am I missing something?

  • Holy shit.

  • What the hell was that!? Lol! That was some Paranormal Activity shit right there!

  • @reeseslightning11 AHAH your comment, just won an award for making me giggle

  • @hacsince1991 i agree that was so scary

  • I honestly didn't know what to expect, even after reading the comments first. So I watched it anyway. That scream! Truly terrifying. It is after 2 am here (I don't know why I'm still up), and I must say, I am now awake. xD

  • i don't understand what they were trying to do with this? i know it didn't happen in the book but i don't understand the significance they thought it would make in the movie

  • @woohooooo0 I'm trying to figure it out too. The deleted scenes do not have director commentary so I have no idea what the hell the meaning of this scene is. I'm thinking it might have been a dream that Jane was having or maybe Adele was sleep walking or something of that sort. In the context of the movie it just doesn't make sense. And it's creepy as all hell. If anyone has any answers I'm all ears!

  • why is she in her room screaming?

  • WTF?! Was she supposed to be posessed?! Bahahahaha, I gotta use that as an intro to my vids lol.

  • I've read the book, but does this actually happen? scared the shit out of me, but is there any actual significance in this??

really need to watch the movie!!

  • holy crap! what the hell was that? lol that scared the hell out of me

  • LOL !!

  • I was totally ready for a girly squeal. Not a throaty old woman. My heart was in my throat. Very creepy, but I'm still glad it didn't make the final cut :P

  • @Twilightlady191285 Ahaha yes me too

  • I was thinking the scenes you posted a week ago were the only deleted scenes. Is there still more? Thank you for uploading them I've been eating them up.

  • @Xarrya You're welcome love!! There are two others i think, of her as a little girl

  • o_O What the! lol Is this about Jane's fears of dreaming about children?

  • @LightNeverFades GAH i still havent read the book *face palm forever* i swear to the lord i will finally start it tomorrow, i've only read a few chapters previously -- but yeah i'm not sure, obviously there's some kind of connection between the distant screams of Birtha and Adele screaming/impersonating her

  • @hacsince1991 Yes I think so too! o.o <3 The book is breath-taking, you'll probably love it! ;) *winks*

  • @LightNeverFades oh my gosh you've read it?! I am SO excited. I will definitely let you know once i start tomorrow ! <3

  • @LightNeverFades I've only read 5 chapters so far but i love it already! Oh my gosh..i'm already making so many connections, like just from the tart's plate that Bessie brings to her with the bird/she imagines it flying outside of a cage/ i'm like OMG ROCHESTER A;LKESTHA;WELK

  • @hacsince1991 OH MY GOSH! XD <3333 jsdglkdfjlj You're reading it, that makes me so happy!! ^^ <333 Yes, definitely, there's just so many beautiful foreshadowing happening before Jane meets up with Rochester! <3 XD *ljdslkfj* It's such a great book! XD
