The final scene with the shoot through the scope shot was actually done by Marine sniper Carlos Hathcock in Vietnam. He shot at the glare coming off the other sniper's scope as the sun was setting. It has been used in many movies since.

Very good movie. The explosions were exaggerated but that's Hollywood. The sniper duel was perfect. Whoever is fastest on the trigger wins. The firing through the scope was another fine touch.
