Cliff is dead get over it. He was amazing then, but now he's as useful as bass player as a wet carrot. Stop griping over is death, I bet 80% of you weren't even alive when cliff was so STFU, I'm tired of hearing the same thing. Its one thing to be sad over someone dying, but saying stuff like "R.I.P. Cliff we miss you :'(" or "Cliff didn't die, God needed bass lessons" Is annoying. Especially when thousands of people post the same thing in every video that has anything to do with Cliff.

ok, it is easy to see that he just learned pattern for this song and he plays it like a robot, with no rythm, his sound is awful, he made a lot of mistakes and his description is worst use of english language i've ever seen.

oh, and i play bass for 4 months and still can play this song much better... i'll send you a video later when i post it on youtube if you don't beilieve me...

ok now i see your reasons. thanks for saying them. i do kind of agree with you. i don't know much about basses because i don't play them. i only play real guitar. (i originally thought of playing bass though) i was just bored so i looked up some covers of Cliff Burton's stuff, so i'm definitely not one to ask about basses. thanks for explaining your reasons.

Cliff died in 1986

Jason joined the band in 1986

this song was made in 1982-1983

However you are incorrect in saying that the song was written in 1982-1983; Cliff wrote Anesthesia while he was in his first band Trauma. He Joined Metallica in '82 after James and Lars saw him playing Anesthesia in a bar where they eventually convinced him to join Metallica. Then he died in a tragic bus crash on Sep. 27, 1986 in Sweden. Then Jason joined in '86, then left in '00, then Rob joined in '03.
