@axpx001 this is the only person who knows what they are talking about. Claremonts coach says that he prides the sideline ref on the call proving he's a homo and lost the game...
First, Capo Valley's first goal came on a penalty kick that was clearly outside of the box-a horrible call, no argument there. Second, the free kick that resulted in the controversial offsides call was a blatant DIVE, so the free kick shouldn't have occurred in the first place. Third, on both Capo Valley goals yellow cards should have been given for excessive celebration (going off the field into the stands). So stop hating on the refs, as Claremont had even more bad calls than you guys did.
CV coach was commented as saying there was a man covering the back post at the time of the kick and that clearly was not the case either. Coaches say what they feel. It was a bang bang play. Made for an exciting finish sorry that it went against your team. You guys had a fine season, and should do well next year too.
Also, Claremont coach would not have thought he had lost the game when if that goal was offsides. He KNEW it was on, and THAT is why he thought that he had lost the game. Capistrano was robbed here by a ref who needed to go home with a fatter wallet.
1) It shouldn't have been a penalty call against Capo. When the goalie is fouled in HIS box, it results in a free kick for the goalies team from his box. A penalty is when an attacking player is fouled in the opponents box.
2) It was clearly not offsides. I have paused it EXACTLY where the ball was kick and no black shirts are off in this video. Just to clarify, offsides is when an attacking player is BEHIND the LAST defender when the ball is kicked.
Remember that these are the best of the best from CIF. In my opinion it took some balls to make that call. I cannot tell you how many games I have filmed where an offside call was made and well you get the picture. We can sit hear and discuss all night.
Also before the offiside call there should have been a penalty call on the two Capistrano Valley players taking the Claremont Gaolie out. Usually when a goalie goes to punch a ball it goes forward, but in this case the ball is going backwards as he was hit.
Thank you for visiting the Video. I would like to see the video of the guy on the sideline.
It is amazing how much shit I take for filming games when, others have the ability to do so but choose not to and then make comments on my video's.
Hmmm last time i checked the two capistrano players shouldn't have been where they were as the kick came in i think that would be called "offsides". Think if you slow the play down and really watch it i think you'll see why it was called offsides. Great game though.
CV sucks. Thats why they lost. Wheres the arguement?
