@Longmachao While it's true that the premise is a cliche, it's what the film does WITH the premise that makes it work. This trailer is pretty misleading in that it makes it look like a formulaic Hollywood action flick, which it really isn't. It does have a lot of action and violence (and a fair amount of gore) but it's also a pretty thoughtful flick (not mention stylish as hell). Can't judge a film by it's trailer (especially when it's an Americanized trailer of a European film).

Why is that a shame? i watch a lot of arthouse and other alternative genres. And found some of the best movies outside of the "massive block buster film" box. Actually, it's from an old opera called Lucia di Lammermoor.

I'm not certain who the singer is, but it could easily be Inva Mula.

In tne 5th element, Plavalagune starts off with a part from Lucia di Lammermoor (the mad scene of Act III, Scene II), which is then transitioned into the "Diva Dance", which comes to an end ... rather abruptly.
