thanks sooo much for uploading Bar,I moved to Fla in '95 saw them 3 times, porthole lounge, gasoline aley and their very last show at city winds, have all but one cd(no more dirty deals) that I bought from Greg himself,Ronnie is in my top 10 all time favorite guitarists with Randy Rhoades,Mck Mars....
Long Live STRANGER. Ronnie G, we will never ever forget you. If you don't like Stranger, get out of the south, because you just don't belong!! GO GATORS!
are you kidding me??? you are like a savior to post all these Stranger video's. it has been a long time coming and a lot of searching since! thank you , thank you, thank you!!!!!
This is easily the best song on the "No Rules" album. I love this song. The guitars kick ass. I also like most of the other songs on the album as well. A lot of the newer generation don't know about this band or album, but if they heard this song, I'm sure they would love it. This song has such high fidelity and crispness to it that makes it sound even better.
I remember this band when they opened for Quiet Riot in San Juan Puerto Rico early 80's they tear down the house at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum. They were a sensation and returned a few month later and they were the main event.
This Song is really about StuckUp GIRLS in WinterPark, Fla... You know Rollings Collge Daddy's RICH GIRLS!!!!!!! Ronnie G really whales on the Guitar, Hot Licks' Listen John Price on the Drums he hits those sticks and does some awsome Drumming!!!!! Tom King Really thumps that Bass!!!! these guys were so tight and sound so Great they always had a large Audience an I was there Dressed as Budman.. In central Fla I would give Away all kinds of Budweiser Souvieners with the Band on my OWN....
before the greg billings band they were called the damn torpedoes and they played
beachnuts a cool place on the beach in pinellas county every sunday. it was awesome back then. this was about 6 years ago i guess. email me to talk about stranger and and other rock/metal music.

Yeah people the best baddest rockin band ever! i miss them all...fern park station [or just the ' station' known locally in the central fla. area] was a group of real train box cars connected together. they blew the roofs of those old ass box cars like nuthin' ever seen.does anyone remember that?turners castle maybe?those were the days! coolzer5369 kickin it in o town...
Message is for Greg Billings. I was a manager for Camelot Music In the late 80's in Coral Srings FL. Everytime they came to town I worked with Stranger to get their EP or CD in the store and always sold out. I worked closely with Patti Murray of WGTR (RIP) I had a great time with the boys back stage then . I miss the band as they were the best touring band of their day and never got the recognition they deserved. I will share this site with my friends. Sorry to hear about Ronnie.
ROFL!! Yep! Can't think of the name of the bar on 49th Street (Next to Charlies Oyster Palace?? 46th Ave??) but they were a crowd favorite. Long time (but fun times) ago! Thanks for that memory.
Great band and this song rocks big time, and, if I'm not mistaken, I can hear a little bit of Ace Frehley's influence in the guitar riff, not to mention the guitar player's stage moves with that cool, confident presence. Great live performance....the genre of rock n roll I enjoy listening to!
I remeber when Greg played in a band called Merlin they kicked ass, then me and cat fish were down at skips on the beach on a sunday when Greg showed up to sing some Van Hallen, and the rest is history, what great times we had back then, I did a lot of partying with Tom and Ronnie back then, I sure miss my friend Ronnie, he was a good person, may he rest in peace.
I saw these guys all over FLA in the 80's. Have especially fond memories of shows at Dub's and The Islands in Gainesville circa '82. Left each show soaked in Greg's whiskey and ears ringing from Ronnie's ten-feet away Marshalls (yes, they were still Marshalls). I miss them.
Man does this bring back memories! These guys were the best! Got to hang out with them a little back in the day! Still see Greg & Tom now and then with GBB! Funny I know them and my friend knows the new drummer & guitarist! Small world!
Glad to see everyone is enjoying the Stranger footage. I have a few more songs to post like Swamp Woman, Jackie's so Bad and my Favorite Clear Blue Morning, so check back. .
I'm fifteen and ever since I was a little kid my mom played their music in the car. I so wish the music today was like this. Long live Ronnie and Stranger. I will learn to play this song if it kills me just to let this music live on. Love these guys to death. Keep rockin' Greg!!!!!!
I saw this band play many many times in Valdosta, Ga. They packed the house and had a hell of a show. Ronnie did his thing. You guys should have been there before you even comment. Rock on, Stranger Band.
Ronnie was such an awesome guitarist and Stranger has always been and will always be one of my favorite bands of all time! Man, I miss these guys. We used to go down to Orlando all the time just to catch their show. Thanks for sharing such gems with the rest of us Stranger fans!
I can't thank you enough for this. I have such fond memories of these days...The best times of our lives...You could neverhave a bad time at a Stranger show! The memory will always live on!!!!!!In the fans!

You can still buy Stranger albums on CD. There is a company that has reissued them all. If you search the net, you'll find them. Good luck.
