I think O bama is thoughtful on the issues and gave his true feelings of the events of the times. He is much more honest about his convictions than others have been. I remember really admiring him and respecting his caution in commitments back then. Now some kind of fame and spotlight bug has bitten him and he smells power and in a short time has lost all sense of reality.

Of course that admiration was not informed by his friendship with Bill Ayers and closeness to Rezko and Trinity, so it was not one that would have withstood those things; all of I find totally unacceptable, especially Ayers. Now even that initial admiration is completely overwritten.
