I can tell you a few things: Freddy Krueger is a sadist who haunts and kills at least partially for pleasure, and has a sadistic sense of humor (evident in most of his jokes); also, he is manipulative and cruel, feeds off of fear, and likes to take his time in killing his victims, at least when compared to some other slashers.

Actually he was a child molester, but apparently he was evil enough to come back from the dead so it hardly makes him a "fucking fag". Plus he tries to violate a girl in Freddy Vs. Jason.

Oh come on, just watch the movie or read the story somewhere before disliking him so. He was fathered by some psycho who raped his (Freddy's) mother in an asulym where she had accidentally been locked up in over the weekend. So he was potentially fucked up from birth and after being mentally in physically abused for his origins through his childhood and teenage years, he became a psycho himself, an extremely cruel child murderer. The movies never even hint to any molesting of any child.
