it's really interesting the way the prostitute reminds us Lulu (almost the same dress and same behavior) and it's the same for the other one in the hotel (she reminds us Su Li Zhen's shyness and cuteness )
i agree with ggcoa... it fail to capture the audience attention with a hook thoughout the film till this point there is no hook like in other film.. the characters are poorly portray by all actor. anybody could act like leslie in this film just talk and move slow.. where is the rising action leading to the climax? what is the plot? what is the main idea?
You people really crack me up... Instead of trying to engage with the film's rhythm, its emotions, its characters you search for "message" or something like the "main idea", as if that would be something which pops up right from the start. Do you look at things that way in real life too?
bad acting? wtf? Keep away from all tose drugs please... the acting in this is terrific.
you are right my bad... I guess i was comparing this movie to a hollywood movie which it is not. guess the director don't see the need to fill the audience with those so call "main ideas" but leave us half empty with lost doubt. THat Right "Life" is not about Meaning just "rhythm"
