  • Very nice. I am on the fence between this and the 48.

  • I just bought a 883 iron denium black, what do you use to deep clean the paint. I have a quick spray clean from HD but it doesn't really do a deep clean. Thanks for any info. First timer here.

  • too bad they dont make an iron 1200..

  • love that color. goes great with that bike.

  • @hpdrlr The chip i have on my shoulder is earned. Here's why. From first bikes until about 1980 bikes were judged on performance, speed, cost, handling, reliability. Then we hit this incredible wall of ignorance. The great bike collected cobwebs in the showroom. The fools coming in the door wanted bikes that looked like 1940 Harleys

and performed like them. It's as if everybody said, i don't want that Shelby Cobra, give me that 1918 Whippet. And i'm the one whose nut?

  • Cool this vidéo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have make a small video, on my Harley, with my will be on drugs GoPro HD, kept silent will see my Sports 1200...

  • Background song (Caifanes - Afuera)

  • I am curious, how many miles to the gallon do you get on that nightster before you fill it up with gas ?? I know that my little "rice burner" 2005 Honda Rebel can get up to 175 miles before I have to fill it up. I plan on trading in the Rebel for a 1200 Nightster. I have ridden a Suzuki LS-650 before, but I am curious to know what that nightster will do on miles per gallon on the city, and on the highway.

  • @renegadebiker24 my fjr 1300 will go 273-276 miles before bone dry. The Harley's get good milage but the tanks are smaller. Instead of a Harley why not buy a modern bike example - Susuki 1250 FA- Kawasaki x1400

Yamaha fjr1300 Honda ST. John Ryan road from Prudoe Bay Akaska to Key west florida in four days 8 hrs. His

Fjr had 140,000 miles on it before he left alaska. I like to see somebody try that on a nightster

  • cute bitch bike.

  • How tall are you and how much do you weigh??? Just trying to figure out if I'm too big for a sportster.....

  • nice bike i love that color

  • sick lookn bike!!!!!!

  • Love it! Real classy and understated.

  • Couldn't agree w/ you more... i.e. a/b the seat....it would definitely take away from the classic look.....great lookin' bike man....can't wait to get mine! thanks for the vid...!

  • Very cool ride! To me, it is the quintessential bike!

  • just bought an 09 nightster, love the bike. Thanks for the videos man very informative. Great job on your bike.

  • god that bike is so sick i cant find the olive green one anywhere

  • i just bought me a all black Nightster

  • listen to (1.08) Black Tars?? LOL

  • Great looking bike. I like the old vintage look it has.

  • Don't buy a new one, get one from some poor bastard who put the short shots, or side shots on it, had it mapped, or a fuel pack put on it, and now can't afford it. You can find them for 7-10 grand without the Dealership " Sand in the KY Jelly "treatment.

  • @floatpool is right! I bought a second hand 2008 Nightster with short shots (V&H), fwd controls, passenger pegs, stage 1, etc... with only 2000 miles on the clock and saved a fortune compared to if I had bought the bike new and added the above. The bike is excellent value for money and any further modifications won't hit my wallet too hard. Highly recommend this bike to anybody who wants a daily user with looks to match. Although, for taller riders I suggest the fwd pegs and a mustang seat.

  • Badass bike FOOLIO!!

  • that a nice looking nigster, nice paint, it like the bike in the world war 2

  • I like the green color scheme. They only had black, black/grey, and glossy black. I went with black grey. it looks good though.

  • I do miss the original way my bike use to look. It will be changing again in a couple of weeks.

  • i must admit i am a fan of the mini apes. that is a clean look for this bike. thanks for the respose, ride safe, vegas streets are no joke!

  • i like that color scheme. i live in vegas too, in a similar neighborhood. do your neighbors complain about it being too loud?

  • IF you're reffering to the newest video, No I've recieved bad looks at intersections and gas stations but not in the nieghbor hood.

  • hey is that jaguares u are listening to? "afuera" anyways man... so im thinking about getting this same bike and i really like what uve done with urs... gave me that extra push to actually go for it. how much u pay for yours?

  • Hahahah I noticed that too but it's actually Caifanes but almost the same thing

  • I love mine. i have the black and grey color scheme. I just put black Vance & Hines Side shots, for controls, big breather, drag bar, and fuel commander. I paid about 12000 for mine. Put about 1500 in extras so far. Totally worth it. I would recomend a Nightster to anyone... who is under 5'10 lol I'm 5'8 so it fits me perfect.

  • NIce bike bro. I am waiting to be able to buy one of these beasts!! Plus, I love the way you described the bike from 3:54 to 4:00.. "That biiigg aaasssss chrome looking bike". Rewinded that part a few times, and made me laugh every time! Enjoy the bike bro!!

  • ur bike is on point man

  • yea with the baffles it sucks, got to love the loudness of it, makes it know your rideing a harley, thank goodness for the rubber mounts thought them oler wants will vibrate you off the bike

  • It's been an excellent daily driver although lately it's only been seeing daylight on weekends and everyother day. On the newest video posted the baffles are ripped out. and the bike is obnoxiously loud...I like it..I'm the butt hole you hear comming from half a mile away. It's great because you always know when i'm around.

Harley Davidson - Most immitated for over 100 years.

  • @dassuppenkraut butt hole is right

  • Orale, listening to Caifanes. Nice bike. Hey is this a good daily driver? or is it just for weekends? No problems with it so far? no leaking oil?

  • I have a nightster that I ride alittle over 40 miles a day everyday to work and all around, rain or shine, it does fine. I've had it alittle over a year and I don't have any leaks or anything, like alot of people say about harleys. And I ride it pretty hard, jumping curbs and stuff, everything is still solid. It's always good to check out major bolts and stuff, but that's not a big deal at all.

  • hey bro, lets have some more shots of you sitting on the bike, u look great.

  • Comment removed

  • i love the nightster. ive been waiting for years for a bike like this to come out. im like you, i hate chrome, and i dont care for the big bikes with saddle bags.

i just like bare bones riding and thats what it is.

  • Thnx dude. If you like bobbers than check out the bike now. I have a new vid. I got like a mini series now I guess. Stay tuned......Posted vid in this video response make it easier

  • is that a factory color scheme? really nice.

  • What is that grey soap bar looking piece with the 1200 on it called?

  • That soap bar use to be my air cleaner.

  • AMAZING

  • that is sooooo nice...nice colour..wow...my dream bike..

  • I'm at this time attempting to redefine the look of the Nightster. It looks somewhere related to a Flat tracker, board tracker, bobberish type of neat little thing. Check updated videos.

  • It's a really good looking bike, man. I like the nostalgic military look.

  • Beautiful, sort of looks alot like my Hugger in a way, except mine is decked out with custom chrome. I have a 2001 Sportster Hugger and the similarities are amazing. That is one fine looking and sounding bike you have there.

  • WOW U.S.A.!!!

  • Thank you sir! Check the bike now and tell me what you think with the updated videos. Next week a new spring style seat pan and a fender that hugs the tire is getting installed.

  • I have an '09. Any issues with your transmission/shifter getting stuck in-between neutral and first gear?

  • I have not had that issue. I have heard of others through the forums on the rare occasion, but if it is what I think it is than by releasing the clutch almost all the way out, you will get thoes gears to pop in place. When mine feels stuck thats what I do. pull in the clutch and than release only 3/4 of the way. The gears will just pop in place.

  • As much as I like the whole blacked out theme I wonder why H-D feels like they need to put any chrome whatsoever on these bikes. I would love to see one that is flat denim black paint and black everything else all over.

  • Great video. Narration is helpful.

  • I found the fact that you are not supposed to wax the bike, what do they recommend you do to care for the paint?

  • I know I'm really late on this, and sorry. Now H-D recommends to just use a regular degreaser like plain dish soap. as long as it's no wax base car soap. I found out the hard way. and several regular washes later I finally got the paint back to it's dull look. by the way the bike is also updated.

  • Hey better late than never!, Well its a great looking bike you have there and a good video as well. Enjoy and be safe out there.

  • Piece of art. Enjoy it!

  • Nightsters are sick bikes for sure. Get some black pipes though.

  • Thanks for the black pipe advice. It did wonders!

  • Nice Bike, My brother and myself will be picking up a couple of Nightys now in July.

  • I hope you and your bro did get your nightsters. There are several ideas out there. check out the latest upgrades with the new videos.

  • thats a nice bike. I have an 2008 Nightster with RUSH pipes and sounds really good. Check out my video of my nightster. Also, the first service MOST of the things you can do yoursled, like the oil change, primary oil and tranny oil. You dont need to spend 400 at the HD stealership. ENJOY!

  • good luck on that 1 k cost me 300 dollars the oil change that is

  • Man..I went into this dealership not even thinking about all the additional cost like gap inssurance, service plans to protect the manufaturer warranty, docking fees, crazy taxes, and some other stuff. Total cost was just under $15,000. I paid $800 for this deal to get the bike serviced at the 1k,3k,6k, and 10k

  • hey dude what is done exactly when servicing a bike at 10k, Ive been riding mine with no servicing im at 10100

  • You got ripped off man.
