personally i think the boss powered fg gt`s do very well, they break 14 over the qaurter and are not all that far behind the commy v8, and also in light of the motor is 10% smaller than the holden v8 pulling the same weight or more deserve some credit, they are far from slow in any ones book.

Fords got a new Alloy 5.0L V8 Coming, so you can expect performace improvements and allot less wieght on the front end.

Ford have neglected their v8s. They have made the 6T faster and better on the road. I think their attitude is they'll keep making them because they know there's a market for it, but won't improve them, because they know there's people who prefer the sound of an 8 regardless of it's performance. From what I've heard, the FG XR8 is a bit of a dud.

@8gunnerz As well as looking good, it destroys all Holdens.... HSV is in a bad way, pumping out terrible cars and all they do is up the Kws. They have a chassis made of cheese, a gearbox from the1920s and no balance what soever. Its not hard for the F6 to destroy all HSVs, there really isnt any competition for it
