The fact that there are evil people out there who will rob and take advantage of citizens is why people should be able to conceal carry in states that don't allow it. Of course conceal carry is personal choice. and takes the utmost responsibility. I'm not saying LEO's can't do their job, but seconds matter when they are minutes away.I'm glad we have LEO's who do what they can to make sure encounters between criminals and honest citizens less likely.
@Dtac25 weapons don't belong into citizens hands, the USA show that very good. They have a high rate a murders, a extremely high rate of shootings, a extremely high rate of police officer murders, in fact the highest rate of all western country.
The disadvantages of conceal possession are a lot higher than the advantages, so I really like the laws in the new england states and the rest of the world.
