  • Why did god have to make Adam from dust, and Eve from one of his ribs,as in the previous 5 days he had just made the whole universe from nothing?

  • @wordavee I dont know, why dont you ask him yourself?

  • god must be a liar because he told adam that if he eats from the tree he will die in 1:15 of this video or am i mistaken???

  • @thydesu You choose to call GOD a liar without confirming it first? Did you even open a Holy Bible and look in Genesis to see what was said? There are 2 trees mentioned in Genesis. My video covers that. Did you even pay attention to the video??

Genesis 2:9And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

  • @thydesu Genesis 2: 16And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

  • Why must "something die" to appease god? Surely this is rather more pagan than christian? Killing an animal excuses us from our sins?? Why would god either demand or expect that? How does it benefit him? It benefits the priests, who get a nice bit of roast lamb when the congregation have gone home!!

  • @wordavee Surely this is not Pagan. Our Lord GOD is a very Holy GOD and he cannot be around sin. To sin is to sin against him. To make it clear to us the severity of the offense, he put high repremands for violating his law. If it wasn't this severe, how serious would anyone take not committing these sins. Blood is a serios thing in our lives. We cannot live without it in our bodies. Adam and Eve did not have blood before they fell. GOD gave them and all mankind blood after the fall.

  • @RaptureOrTribulation

Accorting to your scripture, god made man, & god is omnicient, therefore he must have known that we would sin before he made us. Therefore god made sin, yet you say he "cannot be around sin".

God must have known that there would be a great majority of us would not believe in him or Jesus, so he made us to be tortured in hell. Is this the actions of a superiour, perfect, loving, merciful and holy entity?

Less and less peole are believing this trash, start thinking!!

  • @wordavee He gave us free will. He could only have a real relationship with us if we had free will to choose to Love him instead of him creating a pre-programmed being. That kind of love is unfulfilling. His angels in Heaven are of free will as well. That is why Lucifer rebelled against him through his own pride he decided that he wanted what GOD had. Foolish as it sounds, he took 1/3rd of the angels and left GOD's kingdom. Satan then sought to destroy GOD's plan and brought sin to our flesh.

  • @RaptureOrTribulation

Oh not the old "free wil"l thing again!!!!

You are free to love me or not, but if you don't I'll torture you forever!

    It DOES sound foolish.

Lucifer had the free will to live in heaven with a supposedly perfect being, yet he chose to leave heaven, and so did A THIRD (!) of god's angels.

But because they used their "free will", god took revenge and made a place of ultimate punishment.

That is not the action of a loving, merciful entity worthy of anyones worship!

  • @wordavee

So it seems that god could not be a perfect being, because he needs constant worshiping, He needs his creations to be constantly telling him how wonderful he is, and how gratefull they are for making them.

Imagine the CEO of a company constantly telling his employees to thank him every day for giving them a job, or else they'd be sacked. How loveable would he be? Would youadmirehim, or look for another job?

The fact is it's just NOT TRUE. The bible is full of stories!

  • @wordavee Yes, true stories. So you dont want to be with him. So why are you even hanging out here making your blasphemous comments about him when you could be out sinning against him anf enjoying what little time you have left until your eternity without him?

  • @wordavee Eternity with or without GOD is your choice. Eternity without light, love, happiness, joy, faith, companionship. Instead, you can be without GOD which is darkness, pain, weeping, loneliness, fear, resentment. Pretty easy choice if you ask me. Our LORD GOD is a just judge and if someone chooses to not Love him and be with him, he will grant you that. It is your free will to choose. If you choose to Love him and be with him, then you must have total commitment to him as in a marriage.

  • @wordavee There is no revenge. There is vegence. Someone that has committment to evil will be judged justly. GOD is a just judge. A sign of a weak judge is not being able to carry out the judgement that is deserved. If someone raped your little girl, then the judge lets him go without punishment, is that a good judge? I think not! You seem to like to make excuses for yourself not to want to bow your knee to him and submit yourself to him. You will have your desire, eternity without GOD.

  • @RaptureOrTribulation

"Vengence: Infliction of injury, harm, humiliation, or the like, on a person by another who has been harmed by that person; violent revenge."

By creating man, who had the capacity to sin, god made sin. He made man imperfect, then punishes him for not being perfect.

Of all the sins you mentioned, not one of them justifies eternal torture. If Iam so disgusting to god, why not just eliminate me? The fact is the concept of hell is immoral.

  • @wordavee Is that your rule? You are not diestusting to GOD, just your sins. He made man without sin, it was Adam and Eve's free will and disobedience that caused them to sin and then the flesh was made sinful due to that. It was corrupted with that 1st sin. Through one man(Adam)mankind is fallen and sinful. Through one man/GOD(Jesus Christ) are we redeemed from these sins and washed clean and white as snow in GOD's eyes thanks to his grace.

  • @wordavee Sin is destructive to us. GOD cannot even be around it. He wants to bring us out of this fallen world. Yes, he knows many will not believe in him because Satan is doing everything within his power to decieve all of us. He has decieved you. Evolution and atheism, Islam, Hindiuism, Buhdaism, Jehovah's witnes, Mormons, Catholicism and many more are all part of his deception to pull the many away from GOD. Even those that live of this world and claim to believe are being decieved.

  • @wordavee Many people are not obeying Jesus and are dwelling of this world when we should be just in this world being the salt and the light and preaching his truth to all so they may be saved from the FIRE! Matthew 7:13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

  • @wordavee He has made it clear that sin causes destruction and therefore needs to be avoided. Anyone that lives in sin eventually faces destruction in some way. Since death is the ultimate penalty to us, why wouldn't he make it a requirement to atone for something that he wants us to avoid. He wants us to avoid sin to protect us from the destruction that sin causes. If a blood sacrafice was not made, how can you possibly take that sin seriously?

  • @wordavee GOD the son, came to this world and personally took all sin that man ever committed in unto himself while hanging on the cross died a death that atones for all of humanity's sins. All we have to do is accept his gift. A free pardon for your crimes against him. To me it is foolish to not see this and accept the gift of love that has been given. Our GOD is so amazing, we dont deserve him, but that is ok, he will still forgive us for our crimes or sins against him.

  • @RaptureOrTribulation

Supposedly Jesus did not die, he WAS god, and came to earth as his own son to have men kill him so he could forgive their sins. Then he rose again and went to heaven where he will live with himself as his own son.

Dying in a physical body is hardly a sacrifice when you know you cannot actually die, so how did Jesus actually die for us? Why didn't god just forgive us instead of going through is charade?

When you look at it logically, it makes no sense.

  • @wordavee On the contrary, it makes perfect sense. There is no man that can die as a sinless perfect sacrafice for we are born sinful from the womb. GOD came to Earth and walked as a man and set the example of sinless living and taught us how to live righteously. He experience a very painful and torturous death. On that cross, He was for the first time ever seperated from GOD the Father and the Holy Spirit. It was what you will feel when you go to hell.

  • @wordavee God the Father and the Spirit had to seperate themselves from GOD the son so every sin that was ever committed and ever will be committed was put upon him. Then the pain and suffering really started whil on the cross. GOD the Father poured all punishment onto Jesus. Jesus spoke the words which fulfilled prophecy of Psalm 22:1"My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" See Matthew 27:46 for that verse. He rose as prophecied on the 3rd day to show he is GOD.

  • @wordavee Throughout scripture in the New and Old Testament GOD has made it clear that forgiveness for sins can only be granted when you have faith in him while loving him you repent and obey him. That is why you and many others will not be saved because you are not willing to humble yourselves to a merciful and loving GOD. Instead you would rather live in your sins and rebel against him. He created all of us to have a relationship with us...him as our father and we as his children.

  • @RaptureOrTribulation

Would you care to describe what "SIN"!! a father of 2 grown-up kids, living in a small town with my wife, working a regular job, is supposedly committing? It seems the only sin I am committing is not believing in god, in otherwords, I am annoying god by ignoring him! Poor god, such an insecure chap! But he could easily resolve this problem by appearing before me!!

  • @wordavee GOD has expressed to us his laws(10 commandments) and other obamanations that we should not commit. He gives us these guidelines to follow because sin is very destructive in our lives. Every sin that you commit eventually ends in some destructive manner. If you live your entire life and sin just once, you are worthy of judgement against you. Have you ever lied? Have you ever stolen anything? Have you ever used his name as a cuss word? What about lust, that is adultry.

  • @wordavee Ever disobey you Mom or Dad? Have you every put anything in your life above GOD? That is idolotry. Do you Love GOD with all your heart, soul and might? No? That is sin as well. Ever look at something that someone else has and wish you had it? That is covetness. Ever hated someone or wished they were dead...that is murder in your heart...that is sin. Ever had sex with someone outside of marraige? That is fornication. I wont ask about the GAY sex question. Any feeling of pride is sin.

  • @wordavee Thinking you are not a bad person or that you are better than someone else is self righteousness...that is sin. Living your own will and not GOD's will is sin. So, I ask you. Hearing all of these sins that i have mentioned, do you still think that the day you go to court over your crimes against GOD, how do you think you will do in your defense for your crimes as GOD sits on his White Judgement Throne? All are GUILTY! Jesus has paid for my crimes. I am not guilty as if I never SINNED!

  • @wordavee GOD is so awesome! He knew that we could never live up to that sinless life and so he came off his throne in Heaven and was born as one of us. Lived a sinless life and became the 1 perfect sacrafice for all of mankinds sins as he willingly submitted his life. All he requires is you love and believe in him and submit your life to him through your faith in him. So easy yet so many will and have failed to realize and humble themselves to do it. SAD! So SAD!

  • @wordavee To answer the original question about the animal sacrafices...they were a temporary atonement for sin that constantly needed to be updated. When they would sacrafice a lamb, they would hold this flawless lamb with their hands on its head and confess their sins. This would transfer the sin to the animal. They would then have to take the knive and personally slit the lambs throat. Pretty upsetting. It made them think twice about sinning again.Any sin after would need atoned for next year

  • @RaptureOrTribulation The whole animal sacrifice for atonement was intended to teach us the severity of sin and it's destructiveness. GOD knew all along that he had to die on the cross to atone mankind for all sin in order to bring us back to living with him instead of seperate like we are now. Soon, Jesus will take his church away from this world leaving all unbelievers behind. That will let him fulfill his covenant with Israel and put away the wicked. Someday there will be no sin ever again!

  • @RaptureOrTribulation "This would transfer the sin to the animal. They would then have to take the knive and personally slit the lambs throat. Pretty upsetting."

HOW WOULD THIS "TRANSFER THE SIN"? If you have done wrong, you can't atone by killing an animal. Also, have you no imagination? In this day of meat wrapped in plastic in shops, we don't see the killing process, but ithe discovery ch will show you the casual way animals are killed for food, so not upsetting when you are used to it.

  • @wordavee If you had read the Old testament, you would understand that this blood atonement was necessary for forgiveness of sin while you walk in faith in GOD. The entire Old testament was to teach mankind that there is sin and we deserve "death" for committing them. The animals were used as an example that someone or something must die for sin. This was all to lead to the messiah to come and redeem all of us and pay our ransom for our sins that we have committed.

  • @wordavee Ever since Jesus died and rose again, there is no longer a need for animal blood atonement. We were given the ultimate blood atonement...GOD's own blood!!! AMEN!

  • @wordavee Oh by the way, how would your kids feel about watching you slit a little lambs throut every year? I know I would have a hard time explaining this to my 5 year old. She has seen the "Passion of the Christ" and it does upset her at times...but she loves animals and would be devasted over watching a cute little lamb get its throut slit.

  • @wordavee God made man to live forever with Him. So He lovingly told Adam do not eat from that specific tree, because it is poisonous to man; the same way you will tell your kids not to eat certain things.

God does not desire our death, or He would not have made us. Death is the consequence of sin; the same if you drink from poison, you die.

  • @JesusIsCalling

I did tell my kids not to eat certain things, but I also put medicines and other substances OUT OF REACH!!

Why would god make a tree of good and evil (how would that work?) and of eternal life?

It seems an odd thing to do! Why a tree? If he didn't want A & E to eat the fruit, why put them there? God is supposedly omnipotent and omnicient, so surely he would know what they would do.

If god made man to live forever with him, why put temptation in front of him?

  • @wordavee

Adam & Eve, not knowing good and evil, were childlike innocents. If you put ice cream in front of a 2 yr old and leave the room, no matter what you say, they may well try a bit.

But if there is no ice cream, no temptation, no disobedience, no punishment required. So god was to blame for putting entirely un-necessary temptation in the garden.

The fact is, this is just a story. Once you start looking at many of the bible stories, you se them for what they are, FICTION!

  • @wordavee The difference is: your kids are kids, so you put some stuff OUT OF REACH. A&E were not kids, they were adults, made in the image of God; they were not robots, they were responsible for their decisions & deeds; and they had freedom to make choices... I don't think that tree is a temptation; it was there for some purpose; it is Satan who tempts.

It seems our world is a probation world; God chooses some in Christ to enjoy eternity with Him, to sit with Him on His Throne. (Rev. 3:21)

  • @JesusIsCalling

"God chooses some in Christ to enjoy eternity with Him"

So I presume that means that the greater population of the world, All the Muslims, Hindus, Buddists, Wiccan, Amazon tribes who worship tree spirits, all of the people in the past who prayed to Wotan, Thor, Odin and a thousand other gods who you don't believe exist; all of them are doomed to hell.

Whereas YOU, who believes in the CORRECT god, will spend billions of years sitting at gods feet.

    GIVE ME OBLIVION!!

  • @JesusIsCalling

" they were responsible for their decisions & deeds; and they had freedom to make choices" I beg to differ, if they did not know the difference between good and bad, how can they base their choices on anything? They had lived in a paradise, they had not experienced hunger, anger, disappointment, deprivation, mistrust, pain or unhappiness.

They were not normal adults, they were made that way, and had not grown from children, You need experience to make decisions.

  • @JesusIsCalling

As usual with creationists, you do not answer questions.

Please tell me what possible purpose god had for creating two trees, which when the fruit was eaten would somehow change the mind and body to know the differene between good and bad, and also confir immortallity.

The whole tale is just illogical, and if your answer is a variation of "god works in misterious ways", don't bother!

  • @wordavee Stick to your belief: your god is illogical; you are smarter.

You asked me to tell you what ... and the same you said "don't bother!" Thank you, I now go for a rest :))

  • Why put the trees there in the first place? Isn't it rather odd to make a tree which, when you eat it's fruit affects your brain to make you into what is esentially human, and another tree which affects your body to make you immortal? Why are they there? God is immortal and knows good and evil, so he doesn't need them. What if an animal ate them? an immortal ape? A wasp who knows right and wrong?

It would seem the only explaination is they are there was to tempt man, or it's just a silly story!

  • @wordavee If you watched the video you would have seen that the "Tree" is used many times in the Holy Bible to represent people in a parable format of explaining important teachings.
