I have TWO VERY IMPORTANT THINGS TO SAY: Outdoor Gorilla Glass gets scratched by the included wacom pen and X220 Tablet Outdoor is not multitouch and has only 300 nits brightness in which case the demo above may not be appropriate for X220 Tablet Outdoor.
@DragonXII I never had any problems with scratches. Never used a screen protector either. Just be sure to always carry a cleaning cloth with you. The screen gets greasy very quickly.
I would like to ask if the outdoor display features any multitouch or touchscreen funcionality at all, because the lenovo website isn't very clear about that
@TheSilentNumber I tried to make a video outside. However my cell phone cam didn't allow that. The cam was just too bad for this. I can tell you however that the 400nit really excels outside. The 300nit MT display is not usable in direct sunlight (even when brightness is maxed out) and even in shade it's not very comfy to use.
@SFseis I'm about to purchase an x201 tablet with multitouch. It's terrible having to choose between a bright screen/longer battery life (although semi glossy and fingerprint prone) and a multitouch (although dim) screen. Is the MT really that bad? This video makes it looks worse, but completely useable
@TheSilentNumber It really depens on what you wanna do with your notebook. If you are going to use it outdoors on a regular basis, you really should go for the outdoor display. If MT however is important to you and you mainly use it indoors, the MT display is just fine.

Is it recommended to put a Screen Protector on the Outdoor Display?...or is it good enough to not get any scratches?

@tiktian Outdoor display models only come with active digitizers. There's no touch functionality.
