without the rev limiter you shouldve been able to punch it up to even higher rpms than what you did in this video

you could always set the rev limiter to 5500 rpm's right before the red line not have to about any problems.

it stops you from revving the car too high...so u dont damage anything in the motor...

i used an sct tuner to take off the rev limiter, and yes constantly reving in neutral at high rpms can damage the motor, but not if its a one time thing

hey does that also take out the limiter that stops you at 115 too? that damn thing pisses me off and is that tuner something that stays in the car? or is it programmed

yeah u can program it to govern you at 65mph if you want, or you can just take out the governer altogether

it does hurt the engine if you do it a lot, but once every now and then shouldnt do any harm

they are flowmaster original 40 series mufflers. thats bout all it says on my receipt that i got from the local muffler shop that did my setup
